On the channel Countrylife there was an old dumptruck with a Detroit filled with water. They drained it and even got the truck running and driving again. To bad he is not making any content any more. He was doing a lot with old Detroits. He once ran a skidder right out of the bushes, it was hilarious. Certainly got one of the best mechanics out there😀

Thank you for trying on the wonderful girl. I remember one sitting on a big Sewer Mainline Job did back in 1978. Probably same issues. If you ever got her started you would be having fun with the controls. The main sticks are swing and boom. The foot pedals are the Dipper and bucket. They were very affordable Excavator back in the Day.

It's an early model since it has crane style tracks, the company I worked for in the late 70's sold these, John deere and link belt, the link belt was the Cadillac, the deeres were mid line and the H/W was the El cheapo, didn't think much of them. I left there in 82 and I think they stopped building them around 80-81.

My neighbor has lots of old logging equipment sitting out in a field. He never got rid of anything the whole 40 years of logging. He’s got old fire trucks and excavation equipment too. I’m sure he’d let y’all try to get some of it running and probably sell some of it. We’re about 50 miles north of Montgomery,Al though.

If you think bees are bad in the boom, when I rescued my Pettibone telehandler from where it was growing roots, it had a family of raccoons living in the boom! When I started it for the first time and moved the boom, momma headed for the hills and left the babies behind. When I came back the next day they were all gone.

I want to say thank you for your videos. They definitely have helped me. Being a new owner of 10 acres and Mahindra 4550 with front end loader I found the video on removing the front loader particularly helpful at this time as one of my pins came out during use! Now I have to get a new pin and get it back together. The old pin must be somewhere in the brush and I am unable to find it. Anyway, thanks again for the videos, wanted you to know they can make a difference and be very helpful to us.

Thanks for a great video, guys! For a couple of backwoods Florida 'necks, you do good work bringing those old machines back to life! Sometimes they're too far gone to save but hell, that's life! If you guys can't resurect an old truck, nobody can. I enjoy seeing your daughter at the start of each video. Its easy to see she loves you two old farts with all she's got! What I really want to see is you guys bringing a mid-50's GMC Cannonball back to life. They're out there still! I recently saw a '54 Cannonball in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. A survivor, in the original paint! There must be a mid-50's Cannonball parked somewhere in the Florida woods. Go find it!

Marvel Mystery Oil, I add a little to the gas and oil of every vehicle, lawn mower, tractor and machine I have, which is quite a few. I don't think there's anything better, also have some in my oil cans. Love your adventures and senses of humor. Project Farm and Let's Dig are a couple more favorites.👍

Watch Wes work is a great diag channel!! I've been watching him for a very long time!! Also south main auto. They both are great diag channels!! You're channel is fun to watch.
