Good job Wendy. No bees results in no food eventually. We cannot live without 🐝. Hope the kiddies are enjoying school and your all well. Love and cuddles from Jo in Australia xxxxxxx

Agreed... and bees are just fun to watch do their thing. All is well here and the kids are loving school. They've got awesome teachers again this year and we're so thankful for the small town values in our community. Thanks for watching!

There's another KZbinr, Jeff Horchoff, an absolute bee expert who posts videos of his experiences "trapping" and relocating bees in many various locations. I'm quite sure he would offer some tried and proved methods for luring your bees out of that tree and into a hive box so you can walk them back to your place. As soon as I saw where they were, I knew you need to contact him. I'm sure that you and the bees will be much happier having them survive the winter at home, rather than as things currently are. I'm looking forward to the coming video(s?) about the happy rescue! Keep up the good work, Keep Goin'!

I think the plan is to leave them there for the winter and capture the hive in early spring. Stay tuned for that!!! Thanks!

So glad you found them! We've been seriously talking about getting bees for awhile now...we think there's a hive close by...we've seen quite a few bees around the last few warm days. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!!

Teal House Farm you should put out some sugar water. I think you will be shocked how fast they find it. They are curious little things. Probably shouldn’t put the mixture close to the house like we did. And probably not by the goats or chickens either. 😁

It would be very easy to recapture that hive. Just set out a hive that you want them to live in. Have 2 supers with the bottom one almost full of comb for them to set up house keeping and on the top super put the feed for them. Hopefully they will set up a home in there. I am sure more info would be available at your county extension office. God Bless Joe

Best of luck with the bees. I hope they decide much closer to you is the best place to setup their home They may realize they wont have to fly so far for free food lol

They are pretty smart! When they run out of sugar water I swear they come find us and tell us the sugar water is out. It's kind of creepy but cool at the same time.

Keep an eye one them if they make it thru the winter you should be able to catch a swarm off them .

Let them over winter then in the spring trap them out. Search youtube for trsp out of honeybees. Lots of tips.

Yep. I think that's the plan for now. We'll keep them up with sugar water until then. Thanks!

We have a friend here in Tennessee who is also a bee keeper. Sometimes a person may have a swarm and they call him to come get them.

Yep. I've been on a swarm rescue and it was really scary and lots of fun all at the same time. Thanks Hilda!

Hey guys. Just a quick question. Has something happened to the Lang Family who had videos? Your videos and theirs was my favorites and they haven't posted in months now.

I was thinking about sending a message to them to see if everything is alright. I did see a foodie post over on Instagram a few days ago. I will check it out. Thank you for the reminder!

Thank you! We've got a plan to try and catch them in the spring and bring them back a little closer to the homestead.
