i only ever ate Long John Silvers, Red Lobster was expensive, even back in the day, dad took us all to Red Lobster and we all left without having anything because it was gonna cost like $20 a head when LJS could give us our seafood fix for $20 COMBINED. The comment on only eating fresh shrimp had me. Unless you are at the coast when the fisher men come in it is my understanding that all shrimp in the grocery stores come in frozen. The shrimp they have out on display all is from the frozen bags that they let defrost. Was told that by the fish monger in my store. Many of the big commercial boats also freeze products right on the boats to keep product as fresh as possible. Even sushi grade fish is sold frozen to the restaurants.
