I found a super black agate recently and I cut it a few times and you should see the crazy banding in it, I should send a few pics or a short vid to you it's really sweet but you got into some beautiful stuff can't wait to see them cut👍

My god man, that petwood is phenomenal. Waaay better that anything l have found out here in west Texas, (Terlingua). And the Montana Agates are unbelievable, almost incomprehensible to me. My father loved to work with Agate for jewelry.

I have to thank you for experiencing two chuckles back to back. Once when you said for the agate of the day I don't want to jinx myself. I was thinking it's only bad luck if you're superstitious. And then you said all right be quiet phone at the same time my phone started to lag a little and buffer the video so came in check on number two good stuff good video

Wow! Beautiful 🤩. Can’t wait for the cutting 🎥. The petrified/agatized wood just shouts out to be carved. Love Floyd. If I could reach in, I’d be petting him and keeping him satisfied with attention ❤️. Are the agates that show up blue in the video, really blue? Or just an illusion? They are so pretty. They are some good boys for sure😁 they both seem to know where the agates are more than i do🤣 and as for the blue, its kind of a yes and a no; some of the agates are truly that blue but some of them have their blue color caused by the depth of the stone, and as soon as you cut them they dont look blue anymore. There's a term for that but i cant remember at the moment😅

Wow! Gorgeous finds! This is going to be hard picking out favorites, the dark agate with a blue and white wave (14:33)made me go ooooo! Does the agate at 16:47 have Iris? I could see those waves lines in it! The red Jasper really stood out, those were all so gorgeous Theo! Thank you!

Jealous doesn't begin to convey how much I envy your close access to the wonderful places on the Yellowstone. Yes, I have nice rocks here in Oregon, but not in the abundant quantity combined with quality that you have there.

As someone who used to live in pnw (Washington) and now lives along the yellowstone River, I used to find crazy cool fossils on the shoreline back home, especially in the winter. But here I find alot of agates and petrified wood. I am on the hunt for a purple agate these days!

Wowsers. So many agates. Love the one with the dark plate on top of it. You guys find such amazing stuff on that rive. And u have some cute dogs. Floyd is awesome and Cy is always on the run. They must love rock hounding since it would be like a super extra long walk.

You find so many wonderful agates, and you talk about many being cutters. I'd love to see what some of these look like when you have them cut and polished as well as learning what you do with all these great rocks once they're cut. Next I'll look for the iris video, as I have some agates to cut as well. And cheetah.

Theo, I purchased a EverReady rechargeable 4 pack AA system.. about 11.00 where I live.. then you always have a backup set... I was just going to say the stream is slow. Battery life is about done.

The dogs get just as excited to go to the river as i do😄 all i have to do is say "go to the river?" And they explode into absolute chaos😂 and thank you so much! The knapping has been a very long learning process for sure! Ive been filming the entire process from start to finish so i will definitely be showing you all the full journey from start to finish😄
