Those shirts cut out in the back could have been for someone who is disabled and has a hard time putting shirts on over their head in bed. I’m disabled and when I used to spend the majority of my time in bed that’s what I wore. My home health aide cut my shirts like that and then sowed string on both sides of the back so it can be tied like a gown. Feels much better to wear a normal shirt than a hospital gown all the time.

I have wrapped empty boxes that I put under my tree every year so that there's something there, tree usually goes up before I have any wrapped presents. It started years ago when one of our dogs would pee on any new presents that got put under there so the empty ones were a safety border lol. Now I just like that they fill out underneath the tree. I would never donate them though. It's obvious when people have done a clear out and haven't taken the time to see what's donatable they just dump the lot there. Someone might have bought those though because of the vintage style wrapping paper if they have a vintage tree?

Ive been doing the bins for a few years now and people definitely skip over things because most people tend to specialize in certain things so everyone is looking for different things. You definitely grow relationships and people look out for others and swap items.

Hayley just a reason maybe for the cut tshirts. My father just passed away a few days ago and it was hard to clothe him after his bath. The Hospice aide showed us how to cut his tshirts in the back to ease dressing him. It was that or go buy hospital gowns.

😂 Someone wrapped those as props under a tree - maybe at a business. When I managed hotels, we had fake presents in the lobby. I also want to mention how great it is to see nice, kind, friendly folks at y'all's bins. At ours, we were literally frightened by the people making a mad rush to the fresh bins! They did not care who they trampled. It was like the Twilight Zone. 😢 I hope we just went on a bad day...

Urine bag 😂 Replacement bladders for Camelbacks are about $20, but in my experience most of the small bags aren't selling for enough to bother with. The backpacks are better. Hopefully, the retro design of that one does well!

@@onemanstrash8233 No, it is tea dye ... steep some tea as strong as you want your item dyed (more tea bags/ darker the item) and then place your white item into it ... used to blend in stains. Granted it won't be white anymore, but at least it's either wearable or saleable.

I recently bought around 30 artist bears for $4 each. The highest seller was $311! They can do really well. Some are long tail because just the right person who knows about that artist has to come along, but I've done really well with them.

Your bin store looks so nice, clean and bright. I went to ours here in Nashville last week and it was so dark and dingy inside. It did not make me want to stay and dig through all the stuff. Single shoes are not worthless. There are several groups where people sell single shoes to people who only have one foot or their feet are very different sizes. They'll either look for people with the same sizes on opposite feet or they look for their two sizes one at a time.
