My husband and I used to have a commercial crawdad business and we used the cheapest canned cat food you can find. Punch a few holes in both ends with a can opener and toss it in. Always worked great. Keep up the good work, love your videos!

Greetings from California Dutch. Whenever I personally went crawfishing, I always used chicken necks. They are easy to tie down and have a lot of nooks and crannies that take that crawfish longer to get at. I harvested an entire washtub (no water) so full that they were able to crawl out. That was over 40 years ago: How time flies. 🌻❤🌻

Hey guy’s looks like lots of fun out at the creek , out here in Northern California we use hot dogs, chicken legs, tuna in oil , just poke some holes in the can , and chicken livers in pout up panty hose or some thing like that. I remember once when I was a kid walking in the creek my mom said watch out, don't fall. I told her it's ok God made me wash and wear. I still tell my kids and grandkids the same thing and they just look at me weirdly. We used peanut butter on popcorn or bologna to catch crawdads

Brandy, you can shrink those shark clogs by throwing them in the dryer with a towel for a few minutes. I found that out by watching KZbin videos. Some will show them dipping them in hot water, but I shrunk my Croc’s in the dryer. Just take them out and put foot in it to form to foot. If it needs more shrinking, put back in dryer!

We used to use chican livers for crawdad bait. And cat fish bait. Chop it up and mix it with cornmeal to make balls of bait. Wrap it in nylon stockings. Keep an eye out forsnakes in the creek. Especially on the warmer days. Be safe, Marine.

Remember, snakes are good meat. The bigger the snake, the more meat it has. They BBQ up nicely. They do have a lot of bones, though. Not as many as trout, though.

We would use just crust of bread, yes it dissolve in a short time but we always got some. We used crawfish or crayfish for catching bass where I live. Oh also canned dog food works in the small slow moving creeks of fresh water.

I live in south Louisiana, and it is the peak of Crawfish season. Just a little tip, they prefer things like raw liver, or innards of the chicken and other animals. They also like grassy water places that they can hide in. C'est bon! (good luck)

In new orleans we used to use beef spleen that they call beef melts for crawfish and blue crabs. The butcher shops seem to always have it around. But up where you are I am not sure.
