Aus is a big country with diminishing 4wd tracks due to eg., Indigenous land grants, environmentalist actions and locked up reserves. The down side is regional economies collapse due to a lack of visitors, as does the lucrative 4wd industry. All for the sake of keeping a few old access tracks open in a massive country. Mate, there's plenty of room for us all!
