Always love all the Quests and stories about the Holy Grail. The backstreets of Valencia is just as beautiful as the main streets!😍 So Cool to listen to your interview on the radio!!!👍 And great too see Willie Nelson aboard! Lol Sorry to hear about the free shuttle bus experience. Definitely looked overcrowded. The Marsay Cathedral looked Amazing! The shore excursions were Totally beautiful!!! So many Wonderful sites! Oh those beer glasses and the view through the glass….OH! That was disappointing…the bus issue. Gorgeous architecture…the sort I’d expect. Stunning features…jawdropping awesome. How absolutely special. What a great visit. I’m agog at the beauty of the cathedral. Fabulous indoor market. Loved your city tour. Now back onboard. I KNEW it was a fatal thing to do to put my biscuits in the oven and watch your video. They look more like chocolate biscuits instead of choc chip ones. Bit dark 😂😂! What a great sing-a-long. Ok Here we Go !! Ooh la la Healthy brekkie ! It’s an adventure just to get out of the cruise port ! Where’s short round when you need him ?! Valencia Old town looks smashing - A movie set with a fountain and a beautiful cathedral! Holy Grail version 1 - Think version. 2 is up your way at Whittington if you spend too much time on the internet .. Ask Si - He went nuts when he read that - Stunning inside the Cathedral! Market looks lush ..Farton !! Just sniggering in the corner Now your radio celebs! What next? Obviously a conga !! Looks hilarious fun . They know how to party - loving it Gorgeous sunset and what a great idea for the stargazing Meghan Trainor ? Ok to come last in that quiz . Marseille shuttle looked chaotic. Another lovely cathedral. Looks nice to amble around - we’ve never been and looks a place we should visit. Again you’ve shown Costa to be a cruise full of fun ! Thanks guys !

Thanks so much for watching. We so need to look into Welsh holy grails! Valencia was a lovely city though and somewhat warmer and sunnier than Wales usually is. Yep, the music quizzes on Costa are very European, we didn't have much of a clue! The energy on this ship was fantastic and again for a cheap cruise to some lovely ports it was well worth it. Great directions to the bus stop. Naughty number 4 bus. Valencia is stunning. Great history of the Holy Grail. Terrible named snack, looks tasty though. Nice looking meal, was that pigeon pie for dessert? Well done on the radio interview guys, great publicity! Great energy at the Cruise dinner. The stargazing with the lights out looked incredible, only marred by those annoying Gen Xers after! ❤ some cracking shots from that cruise ship! 10/10 for Costa Cruises. Can’t go wrong with Chips and Hot Dogs. Those shuttle buses do look very unorganised, surely everyone gets off before anyone gets on? Nice candle lighting and manger scene. Marseille looks really lovely, not what you expect. Phew, the taxi looks much better. They do put on some very ambitious productions. Great vid guys ❤

I don't think Harrison Ford wants to play Indiana Jones in anymore films. Perhaps it's Wills time to shine! Marseille was definitely an eye opener and a worth stop off point on the cruise. I have to say all the dancing/party atmosphere on the boat wouldn't be our cup of tea and we're not much for shows either. A good band in a bar would do for us but I guess they have to cater to the masses. You've got some pop quiz knowledge to gen up on for the next one though.

Oo we'll watch that. To be honest it was the one port we weren't that fussed on but we loved it and think it would make a great base to visit the lavender fields, take a boat trip over the the islands. Don't know if we caught it on a good day, but it was a pleasant surprise. Cheers for watching 🍻

I’ve visited both Valencia and Marseille but far prefer Valencia. I saw so many sights that I recognised, which brought back happy memories. Go back to Valencia for a longer stay, you’ll love it. Travel by metro, far easier!

Have an odd question...Was it quiet in the cathedral? Why I ask, is when I was in NYC and visiting one there, I found it hard to believe how loud people were talking and some even carrying on a commentary of what they were seeing on their cell phone. Amazing, you were on the radio!! Cool!! Well Wills, you could very well be the new Indiana Jones as I here the former had his last frontier...better give Hollywood a call!! lol I so enjoy your positive sharing of your experiences...even the not so positive moments. Two places I've almost been to. Almost meaning I've been to both countries. I love Portugal and Italy. Interesting they named Valencia after the Orange. They were going to go with an orange theme but I think they gave up after Seville. I don't think there is a Barcelona orange? The French named one town Orange and were done. Interestingly we have town called Orange in Oz. I always thought that the Grail was destroyed by the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch? I have to mention that I have a copy of the DVD signed by Michael Palin. Ni! A pigeon ate your meal? If it had been in France it would've been the meal. In all seriousness, Marseilles doesn't look half bad. We've stayed in Provence quite near by and actively avoided the place. Might have to go back one day. And Valencia too. Oh you're going to Monaco next. Nice. I mean nice, not Nice. It is near Nice which is nice but it is also a nice town. Monaco that is. Nice is nice too. We had a nice salad there once. Ciao.

It's all hearsay with that grail/chalice but it has been dated to jesus's time, so that's still cool. We'd love to stay in Marseille and visit the kacenever fields and even mosey around Provence too as the towns and villages look amazing. Valencia was cool and we'd love to go back there too. By the end of this cruise we have at least 4 city breaks added to the list!! Bad time!! Enjoy Monaco next week, we're off to Barcelona tomorrow! 🍻

Apparently the cup is made from agate, a type of stone. This was common back in the day. At the time it was all meant to have happened, it would have just been the cup part. The gold handles and base were put on years later to stop people from touching the actual agate cup...cool eh??!!

The Indiana Jones/Last Crusade grail was supposed to be earthenware/terra cotta but the props used in the film were made from plastic resin. The main wooden "contender" is the Nanteos grail in Wales.
