So jealous of you. I grew up in Cody, Wyoming and spent days searching the gravel bars on the Yellowstone River. Some of the best days of my life were spent looking for rocks. Good luck and have fun.

That green petrified wood, absolutely fabulous. What colour. Such a lovely day out there with you and the family really enjoyed it as always,looking forward to the next one. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention that first agate that had the water lines looks like the stairway to Heaven inside it :-)

Great finds! The teeth could be fossilized Mastodon teeth, pretty rare. Your kids will remember their quality time with dad and mom forever! These are the moments kids love and cherish. We used to go to gravel quarries in Bavaria where I grew up, and even being a 1000 miles from the sea, we found fossilized Great White shark teeth! That taught me about earth changes and how there used to be the sea not far from the Alps! Hope you polish up some of the nice pieces with your children too, thanks and good luck! 🙂
