Mewar feels such an odd pick. if you're going North West India, why not Sirhind into Delhi? as Laith said. like ok Mewar has a gold mine, but with such a conquest based challenge, you're gonna need to lower war exhaustion and that to push your nation, not sit and dev gold. Mewar has 10% inf combat, but Delhi has 15% cav combat. Sirhind into Delhi also has a bunch of cores on Janpur to get you a very quick big base to work with

Mewar has better ruler I think, better army quality.

Honestly, anything would have been better than Mewar. Vyj, Bahmanis, even Jaunpur probably, even if it's landlocked.

Really fun video. Congrats to Quarbit, crazy seeing two of my favourite dark horse players this season go head to head. I do miss when you spoke to the players after the games though, always found that really enjoyable.

The old strategy of Jaunpur into delhi probably would have been good too, Really missed the conversation with the players, just a little pre-game, no questioning during or after the match... at least what made it into the video.

A big part hangs on the timurid succession as they can own a majority of the persia subconstinent. (Depending on the Stability/Expansion Shah Rukh can provide in his late life) That being said, Quarbit played a safe route going for a stable economic base and expanding through the guaranteed weak part of the persia subcontinent. A Mewar pick is allready somewhat dependant on a favorable indian starting position, requiring conquest in either gujarat or delhi for at least somewhat of an economic base, aside form the gold mine, as well as coring range. Whereas in western India Gujarat, Bahmanis, Viyiyaivyiayviayvnagar or either Jaunpur or Sirhind into Delhi would allow for more immediate coring range or economic base or being less rng dependant. rant over

@@ywoisug8845 I know that it was a thing with the whole "he refused to give his save file" when he was accused of cheating. But it was some years ago. I did not follow a lot since then, but is it still rezlly a thing ? I dont watch guides generally so idk, but doesnt he give the save to channel members or patreon ( idk which one ) now ? If yes, then that mean that he probably did not use the consol anymore since the drama
