It seems like NiaC attributes a lot of his success to just being under OpTic, which is fair, but in the same vein I feel like he doesn’t give himself enough credit. You have value as a content creator that’s more than just your OpTic namesake. I think you have a particular knack for being so open and relating to the audience so well. Not to say other members don’t, but, and maybe this is just me, you speak about topics and struggles of everyday life that’s rather difficult for most people to be so open about. I appreciate how real you can be and that’s what keeps me coming back to watch whatever you put out 💚

Yet again it feels like y’all are in my head because I definitely relate to this “same shit every day” feeling (except the part where you said your mental is good, couldn’t relate less to that part, mine’s the worst it’s ever been lol.) All I really enjoy doing is playing video games, but I live in the middle of nowhere with dog turd internet so haven’t even been able to play anything for the last like 2-3 weeks b/c my connection’s been so unstable. I like to read, but there’s only so much of that you can do in a day you know? My vision sucks so can’t drive anywhere, just stuck staining at the wall hoping my internet straightens itself out. I think gratitude is the key❤️ being grateful to wake up, being able to walk, to having your great genetics( 😉)etc…really every little thing man. I think it starts there to be honest. Everything you’re explaining, I’m certain gratitude will help ease some of those things, like feeling “nothing”, feeling stuck, all that. Gratitude makes us want to give back too, I think that’s what it’s all about. Whether it’s giving back to yourself, your loved ones, friends, strangers, the earth the universe. Also, I challenge myself mentally in every way possible. I’ll sometimes pick something new daily, and weekly. Not always to do with money or my career. Small things like cleaning out my trash cans, smiling at someone, smiling when no one’s around, acknowledging people, etc! Just small things I do on a daily as a challenge, which become part of who I am. Even having joy, sharing my words with you guys right now, has brought me joy ❤

Damn Nick I feel like we are going through the same thing. The repetitive boring thing every single day. I don’t really have many hobbies, I grow cannabis on the side but it always turns into a job and I grow good quality but there’s hundreds of dispensaries around me so it’s mostly just a hobby. I don’t really enjoy it that much because a lot of the time I’m forcing myself to get work done. I used to play halo all the time and then got addicted to drugs and then got clean and now life feels so stale all the time but idk what to do to try to get those dopamine rushes anymore. I feel like I’m going through the motions like you said. I wish I had better answers but i do get dopamine sometimes from doing stuff for my cats or girl, or just trying to help people. Giving away bud and hash to my family and friends, being able to help people gives a dopamine rush. I think that might be part of the reason people like to gift subs and donations because they feel like they are contributing and it gives a reward feeling. Finding things that make you feel good is important. You have to have ups and downs in life, but they don’t have to be as extreme as they were when we were strung out on drugs
