(reposting this so that more people know what really happened) Ok Bobby and Kalayla fans will not like this but after hearing both sides I believe the original Bloodbath podcast (the other one) had every legal right to the name. Not only did they set up their LLC first, thereby claiming the trademark under common law, but they did try to reach out to Trash Tuesday to express their concerns. That is not bullying. If someone doesn’t want you to use their trademark, and doesn’t want to be associated with you in anyway they have every right to fight for that. I don’t think these Trash Tuesday girls did it on purpose, because based on the order of events it seems like they did a search for this name before the original Bloodbath podcast launched. (Sometime in 2019) Their mistake was not doing a search in 2020 or 2021, and seemingly ignoring the other girl’s concerns until they received their second cease and desist notice. Again, the other girls had every legal Right to the name and any other opinion or feeling about this is irrelevant. The other girls also don’t want to be associated with Trash Tuesday because of the things that Anna, Kalayla and Ester say on this podcast. I know its under the name of comedy, but in the age of cancel culture, it is not surprising that the other girls didn’t want to be associated with any of the potentially controversial things these TT girls can say. That’s there decision, and their right as the legal owners of the Bloodbath trademark. Also some people here say that Trash Tuesday girls got hate for the name change, but they never specify that it was their own fanbase who were hating on them. If anything the review bombing and hate the original Bloodbath girls got is a more obvious sign of bullying perpetuated by the Trash Tuesday fanbase. The other podcast was new, and done by people with no connection to show business. If suddenly 3 famous people come and take your name, then that stuns your growth because people can’t even find you in searches. TLDR: the other girls were right, and Annie, Ester and Kalayla refuse to accept that.
