Everyone gets caught up on turbo PEAK power. But they always forget the FLAT power curves that starts from the moment you walk into the garage. BLOWER power!
@james10739Ай бұрын
It's not so much a peak power it's just that the roots uses so much power I mean its cool but going to cost a big minimum vs a china gt45 for like $180 but even expensive race stuff you can control the amount of boost vs it is what it is and you have no traction on the line

Are you planning your do a dry sump oil system? If not I’d seriously recommend it, spinning cyclones fast will kill a wet sump and it won’t pick up any oil because it’s being thrown around with so much force

A supercharger can make an engine sound amazing, the extra power is a bonus. No one has ever installed a supercharger on a motor. Motors might need air cooling but they do not gain anything from forced induction. Cpt. Obvious checking in to be pedantic. Damn i envy you blower guys a lil. Built 1st 1000whp/9 second e36 328 in 2006 and if you know about big turbo builds in that era you know they were dogs down low. Was 8:1 compression with an 80mm. Tech has came so far since then. E85, tuning, boost by gear, and way more efficient turbos. Cars been hibernating since 2009-2010. Reached the goals set for it and found othet hobbies. Do miss when it was making 650whp with a 35r. Was a sleeper causa its a sedan. But current build with faceplated tremec and the lag makes it not tun on the street anymore. Gonna update it soon.

My dad and I's dream is to stick a BDS 14-71 High Helix Blower on our 567 BBC... but we'd have to completely redo it because it currently has 15½:1 compression on C-16 and I have a slight hunch that the supercharger probably wouldn't like that High of compression lol.. but 1 day we'll drop the compression to 12½:1 and make our dreams come true... that is of course hoping that he survives cancer this year... @SlapoutGamingYTАй бұрын
@johnhahn8464 he's just started chemo but even with the chemo he only has a 40% chance to get threw it.. because it all started with a mass and spots on his liver.. and that's what caused the Hepatitis C to flare up. It's all threw out his blood because it's a blood cancer that starts at the blood filter (aka the liver) so basically if the chemo can't shrink the mass he's just dead.. which sucks
