This week we had a good week with the colts. The red colt got his first saddle and he got a little spicy for a minute. We hope to put the first rides on these colts soon.

I have to put a breast strap on before I tighten my chinch other wise the saddle will end up around the flank upside down.

Yup, that is going on along with a back cinch the next saddle. Thanks John

I know this video is 8 months old, but I just found your channel. I really liked watching this video and the way you describe what you are doing and why. Very respectful of the horse.😎😎

Good job, working horses rakes lots of patience. I only do it when i am absin no hurry because they feel you and your anxiety which give them anxiety. Just from your ending comments. Everybody might do it different, the outcome is what is important and you have really good horses.

If he watched other horses get saddled, would it help him?

Nice work!I don’t know anything butI have had good results by working young colts at that stage while riding a good broke horse with them. It goes a long ways with colts that get flighty. Seems to calm and they accept movement a lot easier from above and touch them in places that’s a bit harder on the ground. Great work I love your approach & videos. You have great horses!!

❤🎉 Awww that little fella is really doing good. He really seems keyed on you and wanting to please you more. It's neat to see him relax more and hopefully he senses that you'll protect him (and not eat him lol). 😊🐴😁 Thanks for your videos, Merry Christmas. 🙏⭐💖💚😍🙂🧑🎄
