My grandparents used to drive RVs in the late 1970s and 1980s. They took me on a few road trips and this video brings back a lot of memories. (Including sink overflows and grey water, ha ha.) Given that it was a 'grandparents' thing for me, I always associated RV trips with 'old people', but it's nice to see some young people also giving it a try!

I'm from Niagara Falls originally and I still have a lot of family there in that area. If you look in the distance when you are standing by the falls you will see what looks like a bridge. It only goes part of the way across and it has huge plates that raise and lower to control the amount of water that flows over the falls. That's my brothers job. He works for the power plant and they call him and tell him they are taking water from the upper river to put into the reservoir and he has to adjust the plates. I can't wait to see where else you stop because I've never been between Ontario and Alberta.

The new camera you got really gives a nice touch. I have to say I enjoyed the cinematography, but also the more documentary style of this vlog. I feel i was there with you guys, maybe it's the camera, the circumstances, or just both, or in my head... but as a long time fan, it's nice to see a more down to earth vlog and to hear those good old dad jokes. Definitely a trait I like in your videos and looking even more forward to the new content you will be creating with that shiny new camera!

I like your updated style by the way. It’s humorous, light hearted, fun and doesn’t need to be crazy cinematic. Brings me back to your older vlogs that I originally started watching you for. That personal touch, I think that’s the sauce. It’s the reason I watch your vlogs not the drone shots and colour correction, as nice as those make it look they’re more a bonus than the main reason imho. BUT, THAT SAID, the shots from your new camera are SICK 🤙 - goose footage is 🔥 🦢 🦆
