so cute!! I would recommend a kennel for when y'all aren't home! just make sure to take collars off while their in the kennel so they don't get stuck and suffocate! now is also a great time for her to learn a kennel can be a safe comfort place too, which is great for travel!

Willows is such a cutie! However I cant stress this enough please please please do not take a pet into non pet friendly stores its actually illegal and is very harmful to service dogs and handlers like myself and others who depend on our dogs to live and be independent as disabled people. Please remember that adoption is always the best option especially when the shelters are full puppies may be cute but you could help a dog in need by adopting from your local shelter. Also if outside in a public area dogs should be leashed unless in a fenced in area where dogs are allowed to be off leash.

Another idea for the bell training (something my family used for our dog). if you take just bells on their own and attach them to some ribbon and then stick it on to you wall next to the door at the height of the dog they can just ring it!

You should try to crate train her. It works for my dog and he just sleeps while we’re are gone. And then eventually you can start letting her not be crated as much. I hope this helps if you try it! Love you guys! 💜

with the bell, you can also put a bell chain (like from amazon) on the back door and EVERY time she rings it you take her out so she knows that it means out. especially since it’s but the door it gives off the vibe of going outside to go to the bathroom

I think you will be so much more comfortable leaving if you crate train Willow. Dogs actually love their crates if the training is done correctly and it can be a very safe place for them. You guys are amazing dog parents!

Hi Bailey! One thing i learned when i got a puppy last year was taking them out to see people is great and getting them used to it, but dont let them walk on the ground or out of your hands until they are fully vaccinated. I was so paranoid that my girl was going to get parvo or anything else!
