I prayed to GOD that I would love to go to church (was ready to give tithe) but if it was HIS will. I got air after traveling to several places and prayed over my tire of my car and still hasn’t gone flat and I was able to make it to church a little late but made it not knowing they were doing baptisms. It’s special because I’ve been friends with my friend Mariah for years and her stepdad started a church this past December. It’s a humble church filled with love. I almost did not say it because I thought I was the usual prayer for people wanting to give their life to Christ and have already- but had been struggling with lying spirt. I heard Holy Spirt say " You should say it with them" I did. That is when I realized their was an added prayer about sin and repentance. I began to get delivered and speaking in tongues. I heard direction to put my hand on my head and heard Jesus voice saying " I am delivering you" I started releasing through tears and at the end heard God's voice that he is with me, loves me, I am his and I am free so forgive myself because Jesus has already forgiven me. Your love for God is evident as it is expressed in the joy on your faces, it is expressed in the tears that flow from your face, our tears are so precious to him that he bottles them. Psalms 56;8 says “You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book” It’s also expressed loudly in the silence of the many unspoken words of you being who you are in Christ. The word says where two or three are gathered in his name that Jesus is with us, that in itself is a draw for me to want to be in a gathering with you! I bless you my sisters with the blessing flowing from heaven into your hearts with oil poured out upon your heads covering you with overwhelming sense of the presence of God. Joey

I want to start by saying that I just started watching this podcast and I love to see your journey to Christ. You girls are beautiful inside and out. I also am a cradle Catholic and had a similar experience as you girls. I love how you guys show love for the Catholic Church because we are also Christians and our faith is very rich and contains wisdom dating back to the 12 apostles and first fathers of the Church. I feel that because we Catholics have everything at our disposal (the sacraments, the examples of how to live the faith from the saints, the structure and guidance of the hierarchy of the church) we forget to read our bible and can miss out on getting to know Jesus as a person. We take communion and we know He is there physically but it takes reading the bible to know who He is and His personality. I want to emphasize that if there are any Catholics out there watching this video, there is no need to "re-baptize" yourself or if you were born into any other denomination and left because of your sin and then returned to Christ. The only reason you would need to be "re-baptized" would be if you were not baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. We Catholics are baptized as infants because it was done by the first Christians read Acts 16:15-33. Whole families were converted to the faith and EVERYONE in the house was baptized, children not through their own faith, but through the faith of their parents. It was very special to me to recognize that I was sealed by baptism since I was an infant, separated from the rest since I was a baby. Also in Colossians 2:11-12, it says that baptism replaces circumcision, which was done to jewish babies on the 8th day after birth. And I believe it was because my parents baptized me and raised me in the faith, that I was able to return to church when I was at my lowest battling depression because of sin. It was this grace I received as a child that allowed me to return. Yes it was hard because there was mostly older people going to mass but I didn't care because I had a supernatural experience where I felt God's love for me in a palpable way at a healing mass and I knew God was there. I also battled with addiction to pornography and masturbation (which is embarrassing but I will say it once and again for the Glory of God) and my Lord healed me!! Once I realized that it was sinful and so opposed to the Holiness of God I was convicted to not do it anymore, I went to confession each time I would fall, and I could feel the Lord would forgive me each time but I realized I could not stop but unless the Lord healed me of my sickness. I was reading the bible and read the verse on the bleeding woman that touched the hem of Jesus' cloak and she was healed, and I said to myself, if she only touched His cloak and was healed, how not much more can Jesus heal me if my lips TOUCH HIM during communion and it was very risky because the bible says receiving His Body and Blood unworthily is guilty of profaning His Body and Blood (1 Corinthians 11:23-29) but I took a chance because I felt I couldn't talk to God unless I was rid of this addiction that made me feel like an animal. And after that mass and that communion the Lord HEALED me and I no longer had the urge to do it. I felt free and pure and able to talk to God and be in His presence because God is SOO pure. I also want to say that I believe you girls experienced the baptism of fire or confirmation because you of your own accord want to follow Christ and not just by the faith of your parents. I dont know, what I do know is that God is Good and all powerful and he can do anything He wants for the Salvation of souls. I pray the Holy Spirit continues to guide you in your personal lives and ministry and reveal to you the fullness of the faith. I pray and ask the intercession of the angles, saints, and Mother Mary that you return Home for the Glory of our God and advancement of His Kingdom.

Wow just amazing seeing you ladies grow in the faith. I too was raised Catholic and had similar wake up call to dive into scriptures and learned many things which the Church did not really talk about and Repentance is the biggest one. I too made a choice to be baptized as an adult because I truly believe it is the one that counts when you personally make that decision and not as a baby. I really loved how you said my original baptism was not the real one which I 💯 can relate to. God is moving mountains with you both and can't wait to meet you in the clouds! Be well and God Bless you.
@uptop37118 ай бұрын
I am glad you experienced a desire to dive into the scriptures and I hope you continue to do so. However, as a Catholic, I must say that your comment about the Church ignoring the scriptures and especially repentance is nonsense. The Church put out a catechism laying out the church’s teachings and their scriptural basis; there are innumerable commentaries, homilies, and other explications of what the scriptures mean and how they relate to our lives. There is a rotation of daily scriptures for masses. As for repentance, the church has the sacrament of reconciliation specifically for repentance and the forgiveness of sins. I wish you nothing but goodwill on your faith journey and pray that the Holy Spirit guides your path, but I do think you need to make a reconsideration of the Church and her role as the means by which Christ will save us.
@shaunpoland56568 ай бұрын
You’re very wrong. Baptism is a once-for-all sacrament that washes away original sin, gives sanctifying grace, and imparts a supernatural character upon the soul that makes a person a Christian. An attempt to “redo” a valid baptism would be useless: The second baptism would not “take” because the first was valid. Furthermore, it would be an objective sacrilege because it would cast aspersion on the validity of the first baptism. Even if you have not lived a Christian life until recently, if you were validly baptized then you are a Christian. Your status as a Christian does not depend upon how well you have lived. The proper sacrament to wash away personal sins you have committed since your baptism is confession.

I have given my life to Jesus and will be baptized soon. I have to say I have been in the fire for months and it is not easy but in the midst of the fire I have had moments of pure joy, happiness, peace and that keeps me fighting to stay in the word.

This is such an amazing video Thank you for sharing this with us 🙏. I always feel really nervous when thinking about baptism not because I don't want to do it but I truly think the enemy does not want us to. I really cried hearing this video. However, your experiences really empowered me that even through this you can do it and our Father in heaven will be with us ❤ in Jesus name!

What an incredible experience and testimony, it's always so amazing and confirming when you see a pattern in how God works during profound experiences. The claim of ownership was incredible to hear! Also if you haven't had a abrupt and distinct experience it may not be that you are any more or less inclined to spirituality but that God, in His wisdom, is growing and building something gradually in you based on your temperament or situation. I read of someone who was of a different faith who came to Jesus slowly over time and others who have their life changed overnight.

I decided to become 100% celibate a few weeks ago, after two weeks Satan himself attacked me in a physic attack, it was a horrific experience. This only confirmed that I was on the right track for myself as a single woman and even though I am spiritual and grew up in a Christian household I never fully accepted God as my saviour, until now. Then I stumbled upon your podcast which I love , I love you guys you are helping me so much, I am now reading the bible, trying to connect to God as much as I can and want to attend church again and hopefully get baptised again as is my choice. Looking forward to reconnecting with the holy spirit with love peace and joy 💕 thank you again xx

I started my journey with Jesus recently, I have always belived in God but I didn't read the bible, I didn't pray, I wasn't close with God, but God called for me and now all I want is to be with Him, know Him, and have Jesus in my life. My parents are catholic, and like you guys I was baptized when I was a baby, after accepting Jesus as my savior I've been thinking wether I should be batized again or not, I prayed about it, and your video came as an answer, now I know what to do. God is truly amazing! God bless you.❤

Love love love, how relatable you two are. I also was baptized when I was a baby and grew up catholic. But over the past 3 years I’ve been on this walk of faith, over the past couple of months I had that seed planted by God to get baptized as well. And each time I thought about it I ironically would through up GGG KZbin video and it would mention getting baptized. So God through you two really helped me decide this is what I want to do. I’m getting baptized next Wednesday!!

Hey, hope you're good. Does the Catholic Church allow for adults who were baptised in the faith (as babies), to be re-baptised as adults? I know I can ask google, but I'm just curious as to your response. I'm Christian (Catholic) as well.
@shaunpoland56568 ай бұрын
@@naijagerd7909Nope, you can only be baptized once.

Baptism is essential for salvation. Mark 16:16 If all comes together. For example of confess and are saved. Does that mean we can choose whether or not to get baptized? Those who choose not to get baptize, disobey God therefore are not saved. Great podcast ladies.

Here is a word for you from the Greek, Metanoia. A change of mind, often associated with repentance. It sounds a little softer...In military drill, an NCO gives the commands for movement of direction. When we were done, we would "repent" and go to the chow hall.

Well said, I realized I'm guilty, because I have had my journey where I went thru these same things with the same questions and realizations, and made mistakes and followed the false teachers and fasle prophets and stuff for awhile , and I desire to help but everyone is on their own growth rate and as long as they are not anti christ they will be alright, I learn I just need to let the children be children and grow, if they heart is right with God, he will help them the same way he helped me as long as they stay humble with eagerness to continue to grow.

I experienced something a bit different but was baptized twice as well. I went thru a non denominational ministry age 19. A counselor there was a fairly new convert and had been a christian for 4 years. He was a mountain climber and marathon runner. I was baptized in a river by him , but it says in the bible a minister is supposed to be a Christian for 8 years or more. So when I got out of the ministry I got baptized again. I was walking by a new catholic parish in a small city where I lived. It was beautiful and I was a son of a roofer growing up, I learned to be a carpenter at age 16. I liked architecture and was interested in seeing the inside. I walked inside and was invited to baptism class. I ended up getting baptized. I only went to 4 catechism classes , it was the end of the classes. I was baptized by a Jesuit Priest, I said I don't really believe in some of things catholics believe like praying to saints or Mary. He said I believe you are innocent and believe in God most of those things are devotional and not required for baptism. I ended up leaving the catholic church asap after a few years I went to the Lutheran and went thru their confirmation. I sang in choirs here or there, visited different kinds of ministries wherever I was, I tried to stay mainstream but I dont really believe in any of the divisions including the catholic.
