When I got saved I was at a Zortman Bible camp and I was 10 years old. They had A preacher preach every night for chapel service. He preached about hell And what it is like there. He preached on how to get saved. It scared me because I didn’t want to go to hell. Then God started to deal with my heart. It was a really overwhelming, anxious, gut sinking feeling in my heart. I knew God was convicting me to get saved. It’s a feeling I’ve never felt before. I felt so nervous and that I needed to get saved. At the end of his preaching he said anyone can come up now to pray and ask Jesus into their heart and get saved. I was too nervous then so I waited and got my friend’s mom to be with me. I wasn’t exactly sure what to do I just knew I needed and wanted to get saved . You have to believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, Jesus got buried and rose again the third day. You pray, talk to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of all your sins. He will forgive you of all your sins and save anyone who asks him to be saved. Since God saved me He has always been faithful to help me through everything I go through. God’s love is everlasting and I can always trust in him❤️ 1 John‬ ‭1:9 says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”‬ ‭Jesus is the only way to heaven John 14:6 says “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 6:37 says “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 3:16-17 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Romans‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23 KJV‬‬ “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “For the wages of sin is death; Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” “ but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 KJV “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”Romans 10:10 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭KJV

Your beautiful marriage in Christ makes me SO thankful and makes me cry. I pray I might be able to experience that kind of love some day if possible. But I am so thankful always for the relationship I am blessed to have with my Lord firstly . He saved me and I accepted His gift of life when I was about 6. It’s been a wild journey since then but I’m still here and still going and can attest to the Lord’s faithfulness these 25 years ! God is most definitely good ALL THE TIME. It’s been a painful growing beautiful adventure . Thank you for being faithful to share the good news . Praise the Lord

Thank you so much for sharing your testimonies! What a blessing! I have been a Christian for 28 years. I strayed from Jesus during a dark time in my life. I regret that so bad. Jesus never gave up on me. I will forever be grateful for that fact. I loved Caleb’s wedding ring as a descriptor of baptism. If it’s good enough for Jesus, it’s definitely good enough for me! Jesus knows me, this I LOVE!

They openly support gay marriage, and gay parenting..(mom and mom raising a child, or dad and dad raising a child) and have ALOT of liberal views which is dominantly not Christian views. I've personally never heard them speak about God or Jesus or their faith at all. Other than hearing them mention Church from when they were kids.

Hey :) I loved hearing about your experiences! I am catholic and I do believe in God and Jesus Christ, but something that I always have struggled with is believing that God is good because of all that is happening in the world. Personally, I think He doesn’t care about us as individuals, but I really want to see Him as a good, loving father and improve my relationship with Him. Do y’all have ever had such thoughts? And if yes, what helped you see Him as a good God?

This is such a good question, thank you for sharing your heart! Lucy's response was amazing, and I totally agree! I used to struggle with this a lot personally, but as I read the bible and studied God's character and who He is, it all started to make sense. I encourage you to dive into the word if you aren't already, and ask someone who knows the bible well to read it with you! As you learn more about God, the more you will grow to love Him and know Him :)

Caleb was raised in a Christian home, and I was raised Catholic! But we both strayed in high school and then met the Lord in college, so I would say we both became Christians after we accepted Jesus as Lord.
