Alone; it would probably be about 3 hours. Thankfully we don't have to milk alone very often.

Why would you have to spray oats to kill them? Won't they winter kill on their own? Do you ever have problems with the floor chains on the forage wagon dropping TMR down to the Valmetal feeder freezing solid to floor of the wagon and breaking the chain?

Why are their tails all tied to a string?

To keep their tails from getting dirty with manure and whipping the manure everywhere. It's elastic, so they so they still have plenty of movement.
