Ol jogi have always been very clear about bush camping. It's just not their policy. Are you sure they irrefutably stated that you can self camp there??? They also have a great program teaching school kids about conservation. Last time I was there, lots of school kids were having a great informative time. Was very encouraging that most of these were schools from the laikipia area! This is a big move in making conservation actually accessible. The bear I feel is from a time ol jogi served a different philosophy... which seems corrected now (hopefully). All in all we had a smooth experience going there.

The highest peak, "Kwamungu". ie. "To God." Always in cloud like heaven. The graves of the Kings of the Wa - samba there. Magical...."In the calm of the evening, the cries of the peacocks echo through the valley....."

It only takes once. Leopards grab you around the neck, then disembowel you with their back claws. NEVER have a dog away from the coast - is the favourite food of chui (leopard). Enjoyed your videos. Good job! Check out Semuc Champey in Guatemala and lake Atitlan. Go Jan, Feb, March - no rain.
