Great series! Thanks for bringing us along. I can hardly wait for the Wyoming herds to recover so I can have a chance to hunt pronghorn again.

That was fun to watch! I'm not sure which part was better... Matthew's stalk or Randy's play by play. Great stuff guys, can't wait to see what's next.

Congratulations on a great shot! I do appreciate the points of education throughout this series. Oregon antelope used to be and under the radar state for potential Boone and Crockett bucks. The impact of feral horses and loss of native habitat has had an impact.

It is sad to see that habitat loss has affected the trophy potential for these animals.

@Fresh_Tracks After a huge fire season in Eastern Oregon I'm sure we will see the cheat grass come back even stronger.

I got my first Montana pronghorn a week ago. Mine was spotted at a mile and ended up with a 300 yard crawl across a stubble field and a 100 yard. Single shot. He stood up from his nap and then laid back down!

Seems your hunts are about family.. the best kind of hunts in my opinion, not about just killing an animal. Thanks for taking me along!

Good job Matthew. Just curious of how far off the beaten path do you all go before you see almost zero or zero hunters for pronghorn? Memories for sure Randy.

“I think that was a shot.” And this folks is what suppressors actually do. They don’t make them movie silent, though a few can. They make the shot not sound like a gun, make the range fired from more difficult to detect, and obfuscate the direction of the shot either 90° or 180° from the shooter. And most importantly, they protect your hearing. I never want to shoot unsuppressed ever again. My days hunting prior to the military, my time in the Army, being a cop, decades of shooting has ruined my ears. Thankfully not enough that I need hearing aids…yet, but it’s coming.

I'd say not the perfect shot but rather that it was lethal. I would have preferred to see a follow-up round in the video rather than watching Mathew walking back in while the buck was still moving. Down at 8:37 and still moving at 9:04 when you switched to the walk back.
