It’s a CAPTAINS LOGBOOK. if a ship survives 8 hours on the sea without being sunk, it’s worth 25k to reapers, and with a grade 5 flag and the 2.5x bonus from it, meaning the new most expensive item on the sea is a book

Congrats - I'm still working on my solo ascent to Legend. Hopefully I make it before hanging up my oars, especially considering that, to date, I (almost) haven't engaged in PVP (outside of being ganked by large crews and griefed - although I consider griefing something outside of PVP). I need to find a crew. Even with randoms, I've found that just having one decent player with you makes the game comparatively feel like easy mode (knock on wood) - and it can be more fun.

Hey Cliff. Thought i'd mention: If you aim a sword lunge straight down - yes, at the ground - you can strike gunpowder skeletons without setting the keg off. Granted if you kill them, that fuse will still be lit - so RUN. Figured this will help you save bullets when splitting up.

They're totally worth it for the improved view, especially on the brig. You can actually see with the sails down. That said, they draw attention. People think (1) you're sweaty or (2) you're rich and probably carrying loot so they come for you. I notice when I run these I get into way more PvP.

Cliff, I did my first Legend of the Veil today after watching your video about it, but when I destroyed the central fort, I didn't see any Veil stones or Chest of Legends. It said "Veil Stone Discovered" and shortly after it said "Voyage Failed". Do you know why? Thanks :)

It is very likely that somebody used a rowboat to get to the fortress and was hiding on it. When you completed the voyage, they may have either stolen the loot on a rowboat or hidden it somewhere out of sight on the destroyed fort and picked it up later when you left Either that or it just bugged, which.. Yeah, it's a very buggy season

Hey Cliff I know you are on the Hunters call grind and the best way to get shadow storm fish is at the Sea Dog Tavern in the storm because you can only catch nighttime and shadow storm fish and if you are in the day it is only shadow storm fish that you can catch. Hope this helps 👍

Pro Tip for the BRIG, you can Stand at the bottom of the Steps and Bucket the water over the Pilot and off the Ship. That way if your ship is FULL of holes you wont go under due to Excess RUNNING.

Me and my brother (who share an account) have been working for these sails. We have about 5 million right now so we have a lot of work to build up for the sails. Though to be honest I probably wont use them because I am not a fighter type so I have no real use for them. But either way, they are pretty cool sails and it's also nice to see the grind continuing. Speaking of pirate legend, I just hit it, like 15 minutes ago, 200 hours of work!!! 👍😁 And since I have you, I have a personal opinion / idea that rare can do with the sales, let's face it having that huge cut out is extremely useful on larger ships. 1. Remove the DA Sails entirely 2. Put a cutout on every sail. 3. Add more sails to the game with that cut out in addition with the current sails. 4. Drastically reduce the price of the DA sails. 5. Remove the sail and mast completely, in favor of steam engine propulsion That last one was a joke, but you get the idea of what I'm saying

The fleet has been bugged a few times this month. So crappy cause that server had no world events for like 4 hours. Until we randomly sailed into it by accident when we were going to sell and they finally spawned. Took a little longer than usual to finish it and with our luck the FoF popped up after we sold and had to log off.

with FOTD you can tell what wave you are on based off of the spawns of the skeletons, there are a total of 12 waves and the first 3 waves are single colored skeletons, waves 4 to 7 have double colored skeletons and waves 8 to 11 have triple or quadruple color skeletons and wave 12 is ghost of graymarrow
