Lol, probably one of your best videos to date. On a serious note I didn't realise that certain people were promoting trading apps. It is completely true that they are essentially gambling, as you are betting on the price change. You never actually own the underlying product. I don't think it's very responsible for those youtubers to advertise something that is so high risk, and not even mention the fact. It is quite concerning really. I like how you guys are so genuine with your content, definitely one of my favourite youtube channels. Keep up the great work!

Exactly, I can't believe that they are doing this. Without even explaining how much risk it involves, I don't think I saw a single one of them explain the fact that you can lose money with it. If a regular company promoted it without declaring that you can lose money then they would be in big trouble, but the youtubers seem to get away with it. I just saw some of their videos defending it, but it can't be defended really. If they want sponsors fine, but don't have sponsors that promote gambling to a young audience, that's very wrong indeed.

It was a comment JWW made I think in response to a commentator saying he was promoting a gambling site, but he denied it. On the 911 collection video. I don't think officially they are a gambling site strictly speaking, but it essentially is because of what you do (not owning the asset), it isn't investing. The biggest problem is not declaring the risk to people, I'm not sure that is entirely ok. Although I don't think people under the age will be able to make an account, it is still very immoral to encourage them into doing so. It's probably one of the most riskiest forms of "investment" there is, since you can actually lose all your capital with the massive leverage they have.

Samvir Thandi Depends on when they do their kyc/aml checks. some brokers let you deposit wit no ID or age verification but once you try to withdraw they will request 2 form of id. So under 18s might be able to lose money but wont be able to withdraw profit. Also you can lose more than you deposit if the market gaps it can put your account into negative.

What else do you want to know? When you say I do everything myself, there's not much else to it other than making the software and marketing it. the thing is that's a very rare case, almost like someone winning the lottery. But people hear that and think oh sweet I can make 600k from trading too. Yes, you can, but it's much more likely you're going to lose money or not make much rather than make 600k. It's basically gambling under a different name that makes it sound like there's more skill and intelligence required

Yeah don't get me wrong he's made some great videos and obviously puts a lot of time and effort into them. Its only the trading advertisement stuff that we're not a fan of. As for him being left out of pocket... he's got over half a million pounds worth of cars, I don't think making a few youtube videos is really bothering his bank balance. Plus, we don't have anyone paying for any of our content and you don't see us complaining that its costing too much.
