Winches are great but sometimes you just have to throttle out.. Watching some of the clips you guys could've totally throttled out.. Anyways, great video👍

Wow, road looks really packed down, i tend to avoid the trails since its so slippery and lot of fender benders occur. Its fun being the first out there to lay tracks on fresh powder. Luckily i dont live too far.

Would snow chains have helped?

For sure! I brought chains, but not everyone had chains. So we decided to run a "chain-less" strategy that used recovery equipment for practice lol. We could have easily gone everywhere chained up, but we were getting bored lol.

@@alvinalday Yes! snow chains are recommended on all 4 wheels for 4wd. If you have only have (1) pair, then put them on the front wheels with 4wd engaged. This helps to control braking and steering. The rear brakes only do 30-40% of braking, so putting chains on the rear are not as effective for 4wd control.

Nice W164 👍- My W251 R500 4-Matic was very capable in the snow, but it was too long for any decent off road and yes we are all mall crawlers lol
