Ah Darren, one of your best videos. 50yrs I spent in catering. I learnt that . Food is life.But so much more. Its love, friendship.shareing ,being with people like Adam. A man it seems who is so enthusiastic about the life he loves. And who wants to see you have a good time in his company. From the start of this vlog, you were radiating such a positive " vibe" you looked fit,happy, brilliant to see. The location looked great, a place to go for lunch and stay for a late night brandy with the staff. Thought this was going to be just a holiday snapshot. Far more, looking out at a damp.dank,dreary day.I smiled. Onions & Chips, winner.Steak OTC!!! A tiny nit picking item. Adam poking at his steak. Slap it down, leave it,turn once done. Good Morning Darren and Adam. What a Lovely Restuarant and Taverna that was. Really loved the way you cooked a Good Cut of Beef Steak. Given your Hot plate to take a piece of Steak, and then cook it as much or as little as you prefer. To see a proper Establishment that does Steak, Chips and Onions with a lovely glass of wine to go with your meal. Adam, he was the most Loveliest and very Good Conversationalist, with Incredible Information about different types of Ham and just a Perfect Gentleman to have a meal with. I really did Enjoy this video Darren.

Oh my goodness I’ve been there. They’ve done it up. The food is “Off the charts”, thank you for taking me back. The people who worked there were also fabulous. I’m quite emotional seeing that. Next year I’ll be back, I visited the week before Tenerife was shut because of the virus. 💕

Wowzers ! That looked incredible, never thought of onions on chips but now I can see how that would work, especially when accompanying meat, even a bit of grated cheese on the top. I can’t believe you don’t normally put salt on your chips at home ! I couldn’t eat spuds without a little salt, don’t use it much on anything else but chips definitely. Great vlog
