Good Morning Kim. What a beautiful weekend. Levi looks like he had a good time - love the way his playful “poses” for photos. Good stimulation for all of you. That whitish plant mixed in with the purple flowers is called Dusty Miller, my mom had it tucked into her flower beds…hardy they return each year. That big porcelain sink with molded drain boards on each side in the mansion you toured - was beautiful in that little kitchen. What a beautiful little trip, perfect weather too. Love your sunglasses. Those speckled roses are so beautiful.

White stuff mixed with purple is called Dusty Miller. It is an annual here in Canada. One year winter came early, before I had pulled my annuals and prepped the beds for winter, thinking I would take care of it in the spring. By spring there was nothing left of the DustyMiller, the jackrabbits had eaten it all. Since then I leave everything for wildlife to winter on and they thank me by reducing my workload.

Kim, you are a very lovely woman. The reason I say that how you have Levi whom is autistic, it takes a special loving person with a lot of patience, he does so well when traveling with everyone. He has come quite a long ways. How he has grown up into a handsome young man. Looks like a good time. I have family members that live near Tyler, might need to go on a road trip. Kim, I am confident you could paint a medallion on your ceiling!! or I wonder if there is a vinyl peel n stick on? Levi did a great job climbing those stairs during the home tour. He was so sweet worrying that Gigi might fall. Interesting that Knock-out Roses don't smell a fragrant as the others. I think they have genetically modified to resist bugs, weather etc so much it changed the good smell...just my opinion. Looks like a fun short getaway, which you needed after the work you have endured... Have a great Monday!!

Great trip, Kim . I enjoyed it, too. You should make the trip to Genesee County NY, where we have a place here called Genesee Country Village Museum. It's an old old country houses all put in a park like setting. They have people that are dressed in period clothing, and they even have a blacksmith building where the people are demonstrating and making things to show you how it was done in those days . I can't remember the year it is of that period. There are houses to go into to view that time period, the kitchens are really neat with the fireplaces ,and there are people baking bread. These houses are like what you guys went into. It's a whole village of houses that were from NY that these houses were brought to this location to display. You would really enjoy it. We had a sink just like that in our house when we moved in, in 1969. My parents pulled it out and put in a double stainless steel sink with no drain boards. They GAVE the old one to the guy who put the new one in🤦🏼‍♀️

I do have a daughter; however, we've never been close and she's got a big job and 2 kids in sports and has not time for me. Oh my stars, Kim, you are your father's daughter! Those pictures of Gigi & Tina sitting on the rock, only could see Gigi's head, you were zoomed out too far. And telling Levi kidnappers will burn him with cigs and little Elora a maid in Mexico. Those kids will never leave your side. Just about as bad as my Momma telling us to not put pennies in our mouths (as kids do sometimes), she told us old men carry their coins in their ears. Not too far from where I live we have Rose fields. Really beautiful how they are planted by color, variety. Pretty sure harvested for flower shops and such.
