Just so you know, AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! River plate is in Argentina, South America. I’m guessing most of the crowd doesn’t even understand what they are saying, but they know all the words. And if you notice the crowd, a lot of them, most of them in fact are a younger generation. Another thing if you notice in the crowd is that there are all races. AC/DC music goes beyond ages, races, even language barriers. I believe this song was made in the late 70’s. Correct me if I’m wrong on that.

I'm from Sweden, and in my school we started English lessons when we were 8 years old, and that was in 1978. So, don't worry, the majority in Scandinavia is bilingual. And it is the same in most of South America. To be honest, I'm not impressed by United States school / education system.

Albums used to be released on firdays to my recollection. My family loved all music and my dad was very cool about letting us listen to everything. I remember specifically waiting and waiting with my brothers for him to come home this particular Friday this album came out! My son was born in 86 and he grew up on ACDC of course.. well this song would play and one time he's going around the house singing "Dirty Deeds and THE DUMBO CHEEKS" 😂😂 He was 3 years old.. rockin out to the Dumbo Cheeks...I tried to tell him no no, it's done dirt cheap.. he was all pissed and said NO! So we just left it.. our friends would get a great laugh at him. 😉😁

Hockenheim Germany 2015 - 100000 Fans packed on to the racetrack and the stands --- in front of me Grandpa with his 6 year old Grandson --- rocking to the heavens to AC/DC --- it was one of my most favorite live open air Concerts - after Pink Floyd in 89 and of course Wacken Open Air ( yearly ) --- so must see them before they retire ---

The River Plate (Rio de la Plata) is located at the conflux of Uruguay And Argentina in South America. Both the Uruguayan capitol (Montevideo) and the Argentinian capitol (Buenos Aires) sit on the shores of it's wide mouth which empties into the South Atlantic.

They are amazing! Angus was 18, Magnus was 20 yrs old when they started this band in 1973. Originally their original lead singer Bon Scott had been their limo driver. They not only had 300k over 3 days during this concert in River Platte Argentina in 2009, they were at the Monsters of Rock concert with Metallica,the Black Crowes and Pantera in 1991 when the Soviet Union was falling. It had 1.6 million people in attendance. Soviet military provided security and was misting the crowd. It was mid to late September but all those people heat it up quick

Hey Kids, glad to see you found one of the most EPIC (!!!) Live concerts ever recorded. River Plate is in Argentina! You have to get their DVD of this concert, it will blow your mind on the big screen. I play them in the car all the time and the volume is max...folks change their views and rock as we're stuck in traffic in Miami..!!! You should check out AC/DC's newest album, Power-UP, it is with Stevie on Rhythm guitar since the death of the Brother, about a year ago, Malcolm. Angus Young is the little guy on Lead Guitar. Now, Stevie fills the spot of Malcolm. Get the DVD, I promise you.

AC/DC have been around for 50 years I got to see them in concert in the Florida Dome in 1995 I was on the floor row F it was there Thunder struck album tour they're awesome in person and sound as good as they do in a studio recording

Angus Young of AC/DC said in an interview that "Dirty deeds done dirt cheap" was inspired by a comic strip "Beanie & Cecil" (and cartoon show) and the villain 'Dishonest John' would have slogans on his vehicle - "Dirty deeds done dirt cheap - Special rates holidays" being one of them, so the song came together w/ (late singer) Bon Scott in 1976... Unfortunately, the record didn't come out in America until 1981 after Bon Scott had passed away... River Plate is in Argentina, South America. They sold out 3 nights at that stadium - about 70K people per night in 2009 on their 'Black Ice' tour.

I wish more reactors would react to AC/DC's other live shows. I liked the River Plate shoe, don't get me wrong. Awesome to see them still rocking at their age BUT this concert definitely shows their age. Seeing them when they were younger is so different. I loved the 1991 Donnington show, the 1996 Madrid show and the 1979 Paris show. Angus running around in those shows is insane. I especially loved 1979 when they were playing Let There Be Rock and Angus is put on someone's shoulders and is actually going through the audience while playing

I feel you on the wanting to be a rock star. My friend Freddy Roach was a newyorblackarican from Hunts Point NY who wrote raps all day everyday. He used to have a whole journal of raps in the late nineties early 2000's. As much as he wanted to be a rapper he used to always say damn I would Love to be a rock star! He was enamored with Rob Zombie at the time and said this dude could literally piss on his fans and they would still love him! I always got a good laugh out of that.
