With my South African Visa running out, I had to leave the country and our GrizzlyNBear behind.
We decided to return to France but in a part of France closest to Africa.

Wet hiking is not always fun but you get to see the forest and what views there are in a different look to them . Now tHat baguette and cheese and croissant was probably looking perfectly define about that time with some hot coffee or tea about the time you got done moping up the tent water’ 😁 . Amazing! I put it on my ‘to visit’ list! A tip I learned to avoid the flooding of the tent is to put sticks under the tent lines going outwards. It actually gets more spacious. 😎

Those strap on ice cleats I think they are called , would be good for that . Another KZbinr called Itchy Boots . She rides a motorcycle, and recently she was in east Africa and one of the country’s she had to deal with the red clay mud like your in now , on a road she was was on it was so bad some trucks were stuck for over a month . Just be careful of wet feet and blisters . That combo as I sure you know will end your hike . Safe travels .

Steffi couldnt be happier in this episode....maybe it because she is in a francophone country.....no Roast Beefs to ruin things....after being in South Africa you must realize just how your freedoms are constantly restricted from having to be vigilant the whole time. (Great Scenery (SA) shame about the people.(destined for more upheaval no doubt) Reunion is preferable to Mauritius....although I did come across Sir Seewasagaur Rangoolam (RIP) with his fascinating name....on par with the DODO fame
