I wouldn't worry about Sunnys weight right now. When my daughter was newborn to 3 months old her doctor told me she was malnourished. Which completely caught off guard because yes she was small, but she was proportionate, not skinny. That doctor made her go through multiple blood tests and told me to force feed. I went home hysterical that I had failed my baby and I didn't even know. My mom called and told me, if there was something that wrong we would know, family would know, as a mom, you would know something wasn't right. I changed doctors and there was absolutely nothing wrong with her. She ate when she was hungry and hit milestones like normal. She's 9 now, and she is tall and skinny. She's just always been a petite girl. Sunny is happy and thriving and eating when she's hungry. You're doing great.

Oh no sorry that happened to you. My 2nd boy was skinny but he ate so much, they tried the same thing with me but I knew too much about how things work. It's called having a fast healthy metabolism and something that is good. In the end every visit to have his weight measured I would feed him bowls of ice cream before we went (of course this was after being on solids.), he would put on enough to satisfy them begrudgingly. You know if a baby is malnourished, they don't smile and moan and pull their legs up all the time like they have tummy ache. Happened to my brother when my mother for the first time followed the health centre nurses instructions, she has 2 before that, no problems. Always kept that in mind when dealing with health professionals and still do to this day.

My daughter was the same she was 6 pound 7 birth weight 2.9kg amd keep loosing weight I thought I wasn't enough for her she was Snacky when breastfed but doc saw she was growing well just faster metabolism she's 11 and almost my height 5'1and her bio dad was 6'5 uncle and grandad too over 6 ft so she's gonna be a tall beanpole don't worry mumma ur enough💖hope u guys are going good Love from Australia 🇦🇺

We had a PR reunion in 2012 it was amazing friends came from west & east coast. It was so good. Nothing better than making memories with your friends and family. Love you guys. It’s soooo hard to say goodbye whether it’s family or friends, incredibly hard. Just remember this, it’s never goodbye, but rather til next time. Our best friends moved from Michigan to Florida 3 years ago. We always knew that it was something that they had always wanted to do, but when the time came to say “good bye”it was incredibly hard to do so. But we would be seeing them real soon, 2 short weeks, at their new home. We were on vacation in Disney and drove 2 hours to visit. It was great to see them, my heart was happy for them, but also sad because we wouldn’t be seeing each other as often. There were hugs and lots of tears. Ugly tears as we drove away, Not knowing when we’d see them next. Then Covid happened, and as luck (I guess you could call it that) would have it, I was furloughed from my job for a few months, and 2 months later we decided to drive down to visit them. I stayed for almost 3 weeks. I think that’s what I needed. To see that they were settled and happy. Saying “goodbye” this time wasn’t quite so hard, I knew that we were always welcome to visit, and that it was never going to be goodbye, but rather til next time. We’ve visited I believe 7 times since, with a tentative birthday trip in the fall. We always pick up right where we left off. It’s like we just saw each other the day before.

Sarah- don't sweat Sunny! My youngest was always SO teeny- they actually had to draw the chart DOWN her entire life- she was -5 for one and zero for the other- she now 24 and 4"10 and weighs 90lbs! She has had 2 babies- totally healthy just TEENY!!!!!!!!!
