Brooke, I FULLY understand how it makes you nervous to have people at your house. I'm the same way!! Y'all had me laughing out loud about the nook / nuke......peCAN / pe-con pronunciation discussion!! Soooooo funny that people get their panties all in a wad over something so simple!!! I LOVE that you're to the point in your KZbin journey that you can just laugh it off. Part of the charm of the COGHILL channel is the down south pronunciation of words and terms! Personally, I LOVE Y'ALL......ESPECIALLY your pronunciation of words!

The house comes first, doing the floors, the doors, the door knobs, so so many things, I understand you guys are busy busy busy! You both, all have accomplished so much! Plus you have to concern yourself with that pond erosion area, then making sure you have feed for all your animals, there's a lot on your plate, you need a platter! Lol 😂. I just love this channel!

Saying thank you to everyone during the mail opening will be sufficient. Nothing fancy just THANK YOH to everyone, that’s it job done. You don’t have the time and those who sent packages don’t need anymore that that. Just be yourselves that’s all us Cog Squad subscribers want. Love you all ❤️❤️❤️ Mildred and Mooman. I’m with you and harnesses the only thing perhaps when they go to their permanent pasture you build some sort of small enclosure where you can tie them up to hold them in case you need a vet etc. only an idea.

I agree Carol with your comment. It's also fun watching them opening the gifts and their sweet expressions are enough of a thank you 😊. A one time thank you at the end is enough. If no one knows that they aren't appreciative they should go watch all CH videos then they can see they are 😊

Y'all don't worry none about what others think you should be doing or saying! It is YOUR land YOUR life.. Let people worry about their own stuff!!! Just ignore it all and live YOUR best life!!! That is ALL that matters at the end of the day. I love every thing Y'all got going on! If it looks, feels and seems good to you.. Then it's good! What is right for you maybe not right for others. Like you always say. "do what works for you"

Oh my goodness you still have to seal your concrete floors in your new home, you all have had such a big "To do" list that I am awestruck that you have done as much as you have done. You have taken 40 raw acres & had to establish a farm where there was nothing but a meadow & woods. YOU TWO have accomplished so very much with all new fencing, animal & foul shelters, the new housing, along with the love & care of the farm life & maintenance in addition to the start up your new farm. I am amazed at how much you two have accomplished. May the Lord cover you with His goodness & Grace love your farm, from a great granny at the Space Coast of Florida

I really like the idea of just pushing back the different animal paddocks, along with a gate between the new and old sections, so that you can let the front areas recover (and even reseed them to help build up the type of grass in those areas). And the built in benefit of shade can make the summer/fall paddock and the front area the winter/spring - more direct sun.

Good evening Cog Hill and all of the Cog Squad. Y’all don’t stretch yourselves out too much. It will get done sooner or later. The greenhouse and barndominium are looking wonderful. Pine straw for the entryway sounds very lovely. We have a o-turn. The yard takes 1/3 of the time to cut now. Nook or nuc- they both sound good to me. I love listening to your podcasts. You have such peaceful voices. Y’all interact so well. Take care.

Evening So pleased to be notified that you had another podcast out. Brooke you are so correct when you say that it was a good job you didn’t try to do the house by yourselves. It must be difficult selecting what you both work on daily! Paying others to do what they are experts at is the smart choice because nobody else can do your vlogs and podcasts, you are the experts on your channel! Progress is going at an amazing rate guys, just look at what you have achieved in such a short period. Keep up the good work Mr and Mrs Cog Hill ! Love watching and listening to you.

Every time my youngest child had to go on any extended trip in a car or van she would throw up, so we had to put blinds up on both sides of where she sat. It was always a mess having to travel, we missed years of Christmas and Thanksgiving with family until she finally grew out of it.

(The creek being the problem thanks to government legislation by the looks of it) So I'm glad CHF are not opening a petting zoo (or anything else) to the public. As we have times in Jan and Feb that winter clothes are too heavy. We get 70's when it was 30 the day before. Have the polar plunge with people wearing shorts and t shirts the beginning of February.

This is a busy time for all gardeners and farmers, then add building a house. Don't beat yourself up and if someone is being critical, ignore them. If you have a garden/farm, this is a critical time of the year. I am getting so busy, I am not able to watch you as often so I am glad you got behind so I could catch up...ha, ha. Enjoy your wonderful property and farm, and don't be so hard on yourselves for being human. I love whatever you have time to do, but I understand when you have to make life a priority as I am sure the majority of your viewers do. I know I couldn't do as much as you are all doing. THANK YOU.

Hey Jason & Brooke, I have to tell you... when I can't sleep in the evenings, I put in my ear buds and listen to your podcast. Guess what?? I stay awake because I have to keep listening! 🤣❤️👍 I can't wait to see the sunflowers in full bloom! 🌻When we get moved into our new home I plan to get some of the COGHILL FARM sunflowers! By the way, thank you for all that you share with us. It takes a lot of time and effort making videos on top of keeping up with the Coghill 40!

i agree with you on the halter. I grew up on a ranch my dad always told us to talk the halters off when we were finished with washing, walking or whatever we were doing. I was in a hurry to get in and get a shower and get to town, so i didn't take it off. My horse got caught in the fence, he cut his leg really bad, left a scar and if my brother hadn't got to the lot my horse was in when he did he probably would have torn the whole fence down and done worse damage. So I agree

You’ll be fine once things settle down and your house done. Some folk don’t realize how much time it takes when your farming.

I love your podcast!! Love the whole content, especially when you cover and clarify questions. The farm looks soo good! Amazing what you two have accomplished already. One suggestion. Maybe if you're able to spend a roughly half an hour recording gifts sent to you a couple times a month or so, it wouldn't be so overwhelming. I do know you don't have lots of free time being soo busy with everything you do, but when you receive them, pick them up...if they're stored in the order received, you could show your gift givers in a more timely manner and it hopefully won't take you hours and be so overwhelming. Just a suggestion. I do enjoy your site, all 3 of you and all the animals. Plus the 40 is gorgeous!!! ♥️
