I don’t think he should be saying he was any kind of “step parent.” A step parent helps raise the kid. If your kids are older than your SO (and grown?? He said he was 23 when they started hanging out.) then your significant other is just your spouse. I would also not be comfortable with anyone trying that title with me when I’m older than them and an adult at this stage.

I think it’s disrespectful to try and “parent” someone that’s older than you. They’ve literally more life experience than you and it would come off condescending to me to get parenting advice from someone younger. Even outside of the realm of parenting, if a fresh college graduate came into your place of business and tried to treat you as if they were superior, just about anyone would take an issue. I don’t know the kids to say that they weren’t racist, but the comparison of the guy that was 10 years older than him… well were they older than the other kids…???? My own dad has talked about dating women my age and it makes me so sick. I wouldn’t care if they were ten years older than me or my older sister though.

You’re saying it like he’s making the biggest mistake in his life and that’s not even your place to project.
@TheAlexaLee5 ай бұрын
@@TanishaJeannelle not even close to what I said. I said it was NOT her first relationship with a HUGE age gap. Me personally I couldn't imagine physically being 37 and looking at a baby like wow this could be my future husband and even less so as I'm 25 now. That's exactly what it is someone who's old enough to raise him and his children being in a relationship with him. He literally tried to be a STEP parent to people old enough to be his parent. TRAUMA. He can't even fathom the conversation that she WILL die and soon she's very elderly. Hell she could kick the bucket simply from them having sex. So be for real if you were deeply in love like he says he is and you were having relations with someone and they died during would that not be mental trauma he and HER willing inflicted upon him same thing if she literally just didn't wake up tomorrow from natural causes. Unnecessary trauma same thing if it was a woman. The only difference is the woman would be being accused of being a gold digger out for his money and not actually think of that emotional baggage and trauma that actually comes along with a relationship like this. Imagine their marriage doesn't work out that's also going to affect him. He went into a relationship wanting to spend the rest of his life with a woman who already lived 37 years of her own life. That he'll never experience because she's old asl. That shit ain't projecting I have eye balls the shit is not built to last because she is ELDERLY. That 100% is traumatic. That's like dating/marrying a terminal cancer patient and hoping they miraculously get cured because you love them enough. It isn't enough love, money, or other resources that will stop her from naturally leaving this planet before him and that isn't projection it's reality. But like I said he is grown and nobody can live his life for him and I surely don't care to. The age gap is strange always will be and the gender doesn't matter for that opinion. I don't have to live with that stuff because I genuinely wouldn't date and marry a man 37 years older than me. Have a wonderful day tho

@@TheAlexaLee you wrote all of that just to still be projecting. People die young too, he could go before her. Also if he is married to her, he is legally their step parent they just don’t have to have a relationship with him. He can also have a heart attack during sex, he can also die of natural causes (you don’t have to be old to die of natural causes) No one in a committed relationship wants to think about their partner dying. He was also accused of being a gold digger with her. A marriage ending in divorce affects everybody no matter the age or amount of time it lasted.
