Hello, new subscriber here. I like your content. I was just wondering what load board or company you use to get your loads? And, what the average per mile revenue you would expect from RV transport?

That's fantastic numbers for those 4 trips after all expenses..I'm with you, have fun, make it an adventure, and enjoy the places it takes you. I currently am working for as a driver relocation company. We use Penske Box Trucks, Company flies me out to nearest airport, I pick up truck next morning drive to the load site. A local moving company packs & loads my truck, then I'm off on an adventure across the US to wherever I am to offload. I rack up airline miles & hotel points that the company pays for and get to see friends and family along the way depending on where Im going. I am looking to get into RV hauling as I drove trucks for Marine Corps for 20 years and have my CDL, but exactly the way y'all did this and enjoyed Oregon is why. Keep Crushing It!! I really do love the way you do you videos. Main reason is your wife is involved I am actually looking to get into this because I have driven heavy trucks and equipment in the most gnarly areas in the Santa Cruz mountains. I don’t people don’t understand that but Santa Cruz mountains are Dirt roads sometimes paved and I had to take 10 wheelers and trailers of barcodes or skid steers or other heavy equipment. I understand what it takes to haul loads and I got off the rails a little bit there but you and your wife seem happy now are happy. Your wife reminds me of my wife a lotlol I think I’m gonna take this up. I don’t want to be a competitor I just want to be a partner. Thank you for your videos.

Can you do that being leased on with a RV transport company? Are these loads from Oregon to Idaho available quite regularly?
@TheJarheadEntrepreneur4 ай бұрын
Looking to get started with RV Transport. Most people I see are picking up in Goshen, IN. These extra loads you're getting is that from the company you're leased under or available to anyone? I'm looking to maximize the money on road not always having to deadhead back to Goshen. Keep Crushing It!! Stay HUMBLE, Stay HUNGRY, Stay FOCUSED...~The Jarhead Entrepreneur

Which travel trailers have the best suspension for getting the smoothest ride. I am trying to figure out how to solve the porpoising effect.
@TheRiverstoneLife6 ай бұрын
Great question! With all the travel trailers we have hauled (they are leaf spring suspensions) we noticed that certain manufacturers have their units more evenly balanced throughout - they haul better. Make sure your unit is evenly balanced and remember the more stuff you put inside of it - that all can effect how it hauls. Thanks for commenting!

I just got into a f250, lifted 6.7 Powerstroke with about 190k. I had a few questions if anyone could answer… 1.) roughly how much start up cost. (Dot registration , and any other certs/regulation things I would need to get started, tow hitch I’m assuming for it being lifted.) recommendations on that. 2.) with my truck being at 190k. Worth bout 25k is what I’ll be paying for it after taxes. If I’m sleeping in my truck being minimal on spending , will I be able to cover the cost of my truck ? And do you know roughly the time frame on that? 3.) is this something I can do on weekends or holidays/ between work say turnarounds at work? 4.) what’s the process of doing this as an owner operator. Is it better for me to give it a shot with another company first? What’s your ideas on that I know some of these questions are very hard to answer and have many variables but I’m so new into this but I love the idea.

Is this something you can ease into? Say take 2-4 runs a month and build up? Or are there minimum load requirements?

The company I work for would like you to take at least 1 load per month to keep your account active.

Do you have to purchase so many gallons of fuel for miles traveled in each state, how much is your truck insurance per month, are you able to claim daily per diem under loads hauled, does Robin team drive for contracted loads? Thank you for video. Blessings to you.
@TheRiverstoneLife6 ай бұрын
No we don’t need to purchase a certain amount of gallons of fuel for miles traveled in each state. Our commercial truck insurance is about $152 per month. The company I work for gives an advance on our money when we pick up the load - it goes towards fuel and hotel expenses but it’s our money from the delivery. Robin does not team drive. Thank you for watching our video and commenting! We appreciate it! 😊

Yes ours is a 3500. Great question - you'll have to contact the company you want to haul for and they'll be able to answer that question for you.

@michaellewis56923 ай бұрын
Do they have a load board.so you can pick your on loads or do you have a 😊dispatcher 😅
@TheRiverstoneLife3 ай бұрын
Yes they have a load board - you use it to pick your load but you have to use the dispatcher to release the load to you until you reach 25k safety miles and have been to 10 different states but the reload board is a self dispatch board.
