Literally from the first note we, me and friends didn't stop jumping until the last note. Milton Keynes was off the chart and I'll never forget this event. We absolutely loved it!! ❤

A real Quo anthem. It's unbelievable live. Everyone jumping and singing the guitar part. 🎸 But your bloody tired when it's over. 😂

Used to love this song live but, boy, was I glad when it was over - absolutely knackered after bouncing for 3 or 4 minutes, practically non-stop. And I was a pretty fit 21 year-old when I was at this concert.

I was there also, what a day!!! Doesn't Rick look totally pissed off all the way through?! He didn't want the band to end. It was just Rossi being an arse and not wanting the rockier stuff anymore.

The Quo, I know you have said in the past that you hadn’t heard of them, if my memory is right, they did three US tours, and never really took off. I would like to think the guys thought to themselves, ‘sod American, we don’t need it’. And it has to be said they have done very well for themselves touring the rest of the World. If they had made it big across the Pond, we would have seen less of them here in the UK.

Originally from their 1977, 'Rockin' All Over The World', album, this song soon became a favourite standard at their gigs. A song that has Quo written all over it. The expected 12 bar boogie sound and very catchy, to boot. They simply couldn't go wrong with it. Why it was never released as a single, I'll never know. The, 'twin', that went with this song was, 'Dirty Water', which also features on EOTR, and was a slower number, (which counted as a breather), was very melodic and had more than it's fair share of crowd participation. If you're going to listen to the studio version of HYB, the remastered John Eden one is worth a listen, if nothing else. The sound quality is much better than the original. I think you might know the next track they played in this gig.. something to do with rocking, over and the world.. what's its name again..? 🤔 Something, 'of interest', happens during that particular rendition, as I recall. Something Rick wasn't too chuffed about.

The weren't that when I saw them supporting Queen in 1986. Opening act Big Country blew them off stage as far as presence and energy were concerned, and Queen of course were probably the best act I've ever seen perform outdoors (only Slade and Siouxsie and the Banshees come near) Maybe they were having a bad day but one of my friends who saw Quo about 15 years later reckons them to be the worst live act she's ever seen.

@NellyCelephant-f7e it's opnions mate. I was at Knebworth. First Queen if you can't produce the sound live and walk off stage playing Bohemian. That says it all for me. Mercury was one of the best. Watching the rest is a tune to waiting for paint to dry. Finally Stuart Adamson was a massive Quo fan. Instantlty you can see from their stage craft where the influences come from. Musically the duelling guitars are remind me of early Quo.

Lancaster and Parfitt were great, Rossi was lucky to play in a Band with them. Of all the Drummers they knew and were available, was Kircher really the best one they could get. Kircher was barely a proficient Drummer, not good or great. His Drum Kit sounded very hollow and tinny, it lacked beef and grunt. It's been told that Coghlan kicked over his Drum Kit during rehearsals for their 1982 album. Apart from a couple of songs the 1982 album is an embarrassment, Coghlan didn't like it and Lancaster knew that something was wrong. Coghlan caught a plane back home and Lancaster persisted until the horrors of the Back to Back album in 1983. Sad demise of the greatest Rock Band in history. RIP - Rick and Alan
