Fair enough, but for those of us who like to play multiplayer, the networking improvements of a Definitive Edition are not something we can say no to. It's rough without that.

Some random guy: " We have Age of Mythology DE at home " Me: what There are a ton of issues that would probably double the players if they fixed, that mods cannot fix, such as the random 'crash' once you loaded into a game/world, and then after waiting in a lobby a 2nd time, it sometimes crashes at the loading screen (this is stupid af as it makes people wait first in lobby to get players, 'then' 1 person who has the conditions just crashes, so you are better off restarting the game to make sure). Process keeps running when a player fails to start or doesn't load, and you press alt-f4 to exit, it could make many people think it's broken or restart the computer because it stays running in background. Then it makes a chain of this happening as the next time a person starts a game without fully restarting the process, they could crash. People could get 'stuck' in that state and then not try to rejoin because they closed it or it crashed. I once had to rehost a custom game of 8 players like 6 times before it actually ran, due to a crash or bad player (connects to lobby, green indicators, but then crashes or can't connect at the game, wtf?). Just generic quality of life tweaks where they could fix the whole thing and make sure it works better.
