​@@suranae They have mentioned this before. Things being quiet on that front, I think it is a challenge to get things down to a reasonable scale. With restructuring, I'm interested to see how they pivot to increase traffic and sales to the site. Doug is living out my dream. It's really nice to see the failures and how humbling it can be for anyone. Makes me feel better about my own failures and makes me rethink my own approach to them, regardless how different they are from his. Doug, taking one for the team and putting it on the Internet for all of us to learn from since 2014.

Meowy Christmas Matt! I loved seeing the warehouse actually. It was wild seeing so much product that you guys have made. I hear you guys talk about these crazy numbers but seeing the warehouse helped make that feel more concrete. Our brains are weird. Anyway, fake tree here, It's easy to setup and no worry about fires and no disposal after Christmas. We have the old school looking large bulbs that are different colors. It's so classic looking. I always had a small artificial tree so I liked hanging it from the ceiling. It's a lot of fun and doesn't need space. I always joked that when I had my own house I'm gonna build a special apparatus so I can hang a real tree from the ceiling.

Our tree is a bit eclectic, but every ornament has meaning to us -- something that means a lot to us, an ornament from a place we've travelled etc. We also have these really great Twinkly lights which you can program to whatever color pattern you want, so you can theme it differently every year if you want.

We have a black christmas tree with led changable lights. We use to leave it up year around and decorate it for random holidays (St Patrick's Day, Derby because we live in Louisville, KY). But for Christmas, we change it to blue and put up the wood ornaments that my husband's grandfather makes us every year. He does scrollwork and gives them to everyone and its one of our favorite gifts we get each year.

But mine is an apartment 3' and purple's my favorite color so I use purple lights (bought during Halloween). I don't put up Christmas decorations anymore because I work in retail and my housemates put up a 13' tree and all the lavish decorations downstairs. I'm set with none of the work. I backed during the first campaign. I'm still watiing for them to deliver on their "craftsman's promise" to replace bits that weren't up to spec. They did so little quality control (i.e. NONE) that I had to switch the polarity of magnets in topper pieces. When I asked about when I would actually receive replacement components, they said they can't deliver replacements until they do a new kickstarter campaign and ship to Australia, and THEN I'll get replacements. Meanwhile, they're offering American customers a $1000 of free accessories if they order a table. Basically, don't believe a single word that Wyrmwood says.
