KENDALL! now that I have your attention, not sure your laws but we use to use bear matts at our cabins to keep black bears out. Just plyboard with nails protruding out it of it. They have very sensitive paws and one step on it they will learn. ALSO, you can sprinkle a good amount of cayenne pepper which is good for fish immune systems in with the food. Fish can't taste the spicyness but raccons will. Thats if you just want to keep them from coming back and not have to trap them.

While your pond is this low you should build a platform out in the middle for your fish feeder and build a drawbridge for it that you can simply pull back or push sideways so the bears can't get to your feeder but you can that would be cool looking and just plain cool to do/have........You can do it !!! 😊 Also it's probably the cup you used for water proofing your trap that's keeping it from going off and you should raise it a little bit.

That pond needs an aerator before it gets too crowded. Wind powered ones (fixed or floating) can be a solution. Also, you can make several cube or triangle shaped structures out of those plastic pallets by using zip tie, and place them at different parts of the pond.
