For me Zetsubo No Shima was always one of my favorite maps. Just loved the vibes of an abandoned island because it gave me Shi No Numa vibes again. But not only that but finally seeing another faction like Division 9 instead of Group 935 and seeing the crazy experiments they were having on humans/plants plus the tease to Dragons and a Spider Boss, Easy boss fight and man the KT-4 into the Masamune!

The problem with 5 for me was how claustrophobic the map was, the hallways on the third floor, the railing in the war room, the tables in the spawn. It was pretty much BO1’s version of Verrukt. Also the third floor with the nova crawlers was scary af and I’d always panic in that area. Just goes to show how great the immersion was in BO1. If they remastered five with the CW mechanics where you can mantle over rails and objects it would be an amazing map

I honestly think Mauer is a great zombies map. The Berlin Wall is such an iconic setting. The Cerberus is one of the most fun Wonder Weapons ever. The boss fight is actually good, and even some of the new special enemies like the Disciple are great.

Lex please give the extinction dlc a go. I’ve played extinction since it came out and I still love it. It’s not better than zombies but it’s definitely underrated. It had great boss fights, a great progression system, and it was a good challenge, not to hard, but challenging enough.

Call of the dead is my favorite zombies map. Good characters, the map layout is cool. I love the atmosphere of the map and the fog doesn’t bother me. This is one of the only snowy maps in zombies. The wonder weapons are fun to use. Overall it’s a top tier map for me. No annoying bosses. Just get mustang and sally and spray away

Here's my bo3 ranking: DE Origins Zet SOE Gorod Gorod is a good map, but I think the EE got too complex and doesn't really make sense. Why do you need to get trophies and do trials to kill a dragon and Nikolai 1? The only saving grace of gorod is the boss fight. Zet and DE's EEs are nice and simple and fun. SOE would be higher if you didn't need 4 players to do the EE.

Also, der riese has more ways to play than just catwalk camping, no one is forcing you to play like that. The fact that der riese offers train and camp strats is also a plus in my eyes as kino has very little camping strats.
