I agree so much on your opinion re insurance. The medical system is so broken and the insurance companies now dictate what care you can receive. ( I remember when it wasn't like that)Our health insurance is more than our mortgage. Its going to be unsustainable. Just finished video. Kinda sad about your decision, your videos are so good. My husband and I got a bless from Operation Hope and EOC to pay our down payment of 7,500 for first time homeowners program you have to be with the program for a year and take online classes and the help with your credit so you can get the proper mortgage loan when buying a house. They also will set you up with a realtor and a mortgage loan expert .So I am excited right now It took a long time to get here I mean a lot of struggle a lot of faith a lot of patience. so now happy hunting for a house.

My husband has been using spread sheets for our expenses so we can keep up with what we spend and list the bills to pay out. It has really worked well for us over the years. When my husband was in the Navy, before he retired, when he was an instructor he also taught a Financial Management class.
