This. Absolutely this. An invader with appropriate equipment for their RL (except for Rellana’s cameo but that’s fine, you don’t get it off all the time anyway) You don’t know how many OLP’s and hosts with dropped items I find even as low as rl20.

I forget what my first playthrough mainstay weapon was. I know i became a Rivers of Blood + BHS Nagakiba user for Malenia, uh, maybe i used Axe of Godrick before that at some point? Or maybe, Siluria's Spear seems familiar, could be that. Starscourge Greatsword perhaps, ooh, Ice Needle, used that a bit in my first playthrough. Meteoric Ore Blade! Definitely used that a bit. Yeah, I'm remembering Meteoric Ore Blade, Ice Needle, and a meteor staff with rock sling the absolute most i used in playthrough one, maybe i dual wielded katanas, possibly even the moonveil but i don't think I'd cared about its ash of war yet on that profile, probably held it in the left hand when i wasn't using the turtle shield back in its 100% days. I was more interested in the ichimonji and the rock sling stance breaks. Rusted Anchor! A bit of that too in there. Not that much, for all my love it's never been a true mainstay, even when I've tried to make it, I always felt like i was going to move on...

Wait... if you went to the mountiantops for the armour, why are you using uchi instead of nagikiba? Unsheath on nagi has a lot more range and barely less AR when cold-infused. It's what I've been using until moonveil got nerfed. (I powerstance it with moonveil now.)

I've done a version of this with scholar's armament and magic grease on a dex int build, not very good but it definitely hits hard when you connect. Nagakiba is obviously a lot better because of the range, though.

btw relana's cameo is pretty bad. you need to hold the stance for 2 seconds and that is a lifetime in pvp. might as well just use a defensive option imo

Moonviel doesnt do much damage or stagger- great weapon.

It's a fast ranged projectile that does colossal weapon hitstun, what are you talking about? It's oppressive in a gank. Pretty bad for invaders but that's the nature of almost all single target ashes of war

@@InvaderTroy Nah Moonveil is also easy mode for invaders, even as someone not well versed with using it, I’ve never had an easier time wiping a three man team
