I am still pinching myself. Family BBQs are great traditions. Your boys are engaged with their projects, making childhood memories. The way I do potatoes: Cut into chunks with skin on (like you did). Mix 1/2 and 1/2 butter and oil, melt in the oven. Add srachicha sauce and garlic powder (or fresh sliced garlic) and salt. Mix with potatoes. Top with shredded parmesan. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Another good way to do them is to pre-boil the potatoes, then roast in the oven. Makes a crunchier potato. I also use yellow potatoes rather than Idaho.

I loved seeing you guys hold hands and pray before dinner. We did that growing up and still do when we get together with family.

Love the oohs and aahs every time you opened the smoker. I make potatoes like that but I add chopped up fryed bacon and some of the bacon grease.

Loved this video! I watch them all. But having your son explain the acorn cash system was priceless. Would like more info on your smoking seasoning and method. We have great brisket routine/seasoning but our other smoking could stand some help. My fav bbq is N Carolinan too. So much flavor!!! And who doesn’t love to watch a man cook!!!

SO lovely to see the boys outside and enjoying the sunshine and having such a great and safe place to play and have fun. With all the crazy things going on in the country, it is such a wonderfully encouraging thing to see you on the farm and thriving!!! God has, and continues to bless you mightily!!!! And in turn, you pass that blessing on to your audience! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!
