I have respect for car carrier drivers, I looked into doing it and there is a lot of headaches involved particularly with new cars. Often they have small amounts of damage from the railroad or whatever before the driver picks them up and if damage is not detected or coded wrong during inspection it becomes the drivers fault. Other things like back windows blowing out on some cars loaded backwards and even having to remove antennas so they don't hit a bridge and whip against the windshield. So many little things that can bite them.

Quite simple to get running, had a minor overheating issue, but we made it to Summit in Arlington, TX and got a scratch and dent 2 row alum rad and fixed the issue. Derek, a suggestion for the new shop. Run two bus bars along the wall connected to an old school battery charger. That way you can have multiple cars connected and on trickle charge. Another idea that I have been meaning to try myself, is put a few dryer vents on the side wall, and hang some long dryer vent hose on the wall with a squeeze clamp rigged up on the end. I’m going to be 78 and 22 with ya. Seeing that empty shop brought a tear my peepers... That being said I’m excited for the next phase of VGG!

I'M happy to see you're moving on UP man. Glad I ran across this video. I love that Firebird. First one with a six cylinder that I've ever seen. Beautiful car one of my favorites of all time. I was a young man back in the last millennium, and in 1970 I owned a little '67 Firebird - maize/black vinyl top & with a new replacement engine for the 326 c.i.. It had a dealer installed 400 coupled to the TH 400 transmission. Best car ever! I also loved that car hauler. One big beautiful "LARGE CAR," as I did that but only for about 6 months. Good luck in your future endeavors and keep your videos coming. God bless you. 🙏

I’ve been watching many great KZbin channels over the years and was referred to VGG by one of them. The first episode I watched was like yuuup this is where I’m going to live now lol!

First videos I watched were of Rocky and remember it being in that shop for some cleanup, which is what got me hooked in. Not sure how that was already 2-3 years ago but time sure flew by. It's a strange feeling moving on from memories but more for sure to come!

It's crazy how fast it's all gone by. Rocky was one of my first vids too.

Glad to see you getting your move on but bittersweet about you leaving my part of the country. I was just a couple hours south. Best of wishes in the new adventures and we'll be watching.

I've had so much fun watching you do all your projects cars. . Thousands of hours that you've put in. Then looking to see the cars all in one place. Somehow I feel a sense of attachment. So much fun to watch at you I'm sure you'll love Tennessee best of luck

That's my worst nightmare! I can't even imagine packing all my tools away! I have at least 100+ different sets of sockets, wrench sets, and drill bit sets, hole saws, cordless tools and all their accoutrements. I don't even want to look in my garage, it'd take me weeks. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. Good luck Derek and family, on your new adventure!

Neat to see some of your logistics; that's a NICE stackalator rig right there. Gotta say, it must be so bizarre for you to clean out places that've had so many memories, but I know y'all'll make some new great family memories down at the new place in TN. May God bless the move and see y'all well through it.

Bentley is the coolest kid. Doesn't say a lot but he hangs around and ready to help when Dad is doing something. I was the same way, always watching my old man work on our cars. My older brother was who-knows-where.
