Dug 2 Hudnut bottles. Not sure of they were perfume or toiletry ones but they were embossed Richard Hudnut New York with the monogram. They were squared shaped and early machine . I also dug a Hudnut ointment jar with chemist and 925 Broadway New York embossed on the jar.

I love to dig up old pits like that. My childhood friend bought a property and wanted me to help him find the property pins. So on his land I found a trash pit that went down the side of this steep hill. Once down at the bottom of this hill I found a old moonshine still sight and ask if this was a creek or spring feed. Walked the creek and found the spring head, walked back up the hill and found a huge old well about 4ft in diameter and another trash pit. Found some good stuff in the first pit and a tornado came and wiped out every tree on that hillside! So that made it impossible to check out the other pit!

Travis and Russ, after all of those awesome finds, I would not want to leave. Loved the poison bottles, the mason jar, glass and porcelain buttons. Nice Cumberland and ACL bottles, marbles and the creepy glass doll eye. Wow, what an epic dig. Tiff was pulling them out right and left. Happy Fathers Day dig. 👍👏👏😀

Awesome finds, you all! Looks like I missed a couple while I was there in that spot where Russ was digging. Oh well! 😊 I knew Russ wanted them for his collection, and he for sure deserves them. He is quite the gentleman.

I wonder why the Rail Road Timekeeper sign says 1:48 and 29 sec.??? Does anyone know?
@CrickDiggersInc6 ай бұрын
I do not know but I bet it was the time that particular railroad rolled through town

That is an Iodine bottle, the glass 'dip stick' would have had a rubber stopper at the flat end to hold it in place (maybe), Fun finds!

That teensie bottle would have been dispensed from a big one, by the doctor or apothecary
