@momoooo12 4 жыл бұрын
In japan when you're losing on match is common to say "let's make good memories here" to cheer each other up. And Inarizaki banner kinda say that "We came to win and by doing so gives your everyrthings and don't let yesterday be your burden". Also it's written in kansai ben, that have some distinct word than standard japanese. In short, instead of saying "we don't need the memories" it's more like say "we don't need the flipping memories" (subtle way to say f***ing memories". It's what my friend told me, he's major in japanese language

@Aisluin
@Aisluin Жыл бұрын
well, it wasn't really a "super receive" in the audience's eyes lol. But Hinata assessing the ball, the set, the hitter- these are all incredible changes he's undergone defensively. Hinata is able to grow, and that's inspirational. I'm sure to the audience, it just looked like a standard pass, but to us, who've seen his progression, it's very emotional.
@Seeeyog

@@Aisluin it was a very well receive though, when libero is not present, and a middle blocker, that too first year perfectly receives a spike from the opponent's ace, is pretty great!

The word to define Hinata's relationship with Volleyball is "Reverence" he genuinely has a deep reverence for every single moment he gets to play volleyball. Every ball that goes up for him he sees as a sign of love and care, every second he gets to be on the court is like basking in the sun after 40 years of darkness and rain and, it's so pure that you can't help but to be inspired to treat the things in your life the same as he does. Honestly Hinata is the perfect protagonist in my opinion, he's not the greatest, he's not above sorrow and despair, he's not unshakable in his confidence but, his hunger for the game he loves is so pure that it's infectious and it's something that is so real that you can almost taste it. Everyone can have that same drive for what they love and, I don't think there could be anyone who doesn't appreciate a person like Hinata who is just sooo pure on the court.
@gamerhead007
@gamerhead007 4 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. Also, another word that describes him is in his name: "Hina" meaning sun/sunlight. He is not the little giant, king of the court, etc, he's the little spark, a ray of sunshine that was long missing in the Karasuno team. If Bokuto is the one that lifts everyone's spirits up, Hinata shines like a sun on the darkest of days. His whole ballboy arc was an example of this. Everyone respects him, not because he is the best, but because of his genuine love for volleyball.
@itzNeph
@itzNeph 4 жыл бұрын
@@gamerhead007 it's crazy because when I first started watching this back when we were like 10 episodes into the series, the thing I had to explain to people in just how amazing this series was, was just how honest, pure and, appreciative Hinata is just to have the opportunity to be on the court, to attack for any ball that comes to him. It makes you feel like you need to appreciate the little things in life so much more watching/reading this series.
@gamerhead007
@gamerhead007 4 жыл бұрын
@@itzNeph Exactly. People want to see the journey of a hero and how he rises to the top. In Haikyuu it's not that. It doesn't matter if you're a top player or not, if you have the desire, commitment, will, and confidence, you can keep playing the sport you love. Hinata never declared that he wants to be the best player like most protagonists in other anime do, they want to be the best trainer/Hokage/hero or player. Hinata isn't like that. He wants to improve and get better so that he can play volleyball longer, and he does that because of his own satisfaction, confidence, and happiness. He's not improving to look cool to his friends or to prove a point to other coaches/players who discourage him, he only does that because he loves volleyball. This is the best thing I learned from Haikyuu: you don't need to be the best to keep doing something you love, you just need to be honest(and dedicated) about it. Yamaguchi summed it up in S2 when he said this to Tsukishima: "what else do you need besides your own pride!".

3 things why this episode is my fav of this season. 1. The motto for Inarizaki is so cool. Not perfect, but the drive to move & look forward I can respect. 2. Hinata's receive. I love the explanation - that one play you work hard for and ypu manage to pull it off. The amount of build-up for that pay-off moment was SO worth. And Hinata being straighforward firing his teammates up - awesome. 3. The animation. The fact that they got it so right for this episode is part of why it is so damn impactful. Still would've loved it if it had been a bit off but I am so glad it looks as epic as it does.

When Asahi got blocked by Atsumu it was like a payback from previous episode when Aran got blocked by Kageyama. Both setters blocking their opponents aces. Just love that detail very much

"The Birth of the Serene King" - The title of the next episode is Hinata himself Serene: Calm, collected, untroubled, in peace, tranquil. Edit: The main difference between Hinata compared to the other players as explained in the anime and in this video is because *"he only plays for volleyball and is GRATEFUL for everything he experiences."* Despite all the criticisms from coaches and players, he stepped up to become better *not because he wanna shove to their faces that they are wrong, but to show his PASSION for volleyball.* *He diverted his perspective to the point that it is sure that he'll not be shattered (hence serene) because he is grateful for everything he receives from countless people he met and he will meet in the future.* Thanks for reading if you did!

Yes,I think Kags, Atsumu and Hinata are all on the same level but it's just that setters can't be as carefree as Hinata. Like Hinata's "I'm just gonna play and I don't really pay that much attention to the score" Setters can't do that. They have to *think* I understand why it looks like Hinata loves it more but it's actually just because of his position plus still being a baby crow with sooo much room to grow, he's not at that level yet (which will change)

Nah hinata love for volleyball os more like kageyama (with their competition and everything if you read the whole manga) atsumu loves volleyball a lot but not crazy go stupid
@Kim-ng4ti
@Kim-ng4ti 4 жыл бұрын
@@nchuopacu does that makes sense tho? Atsumu is pretty much crazy go stupid and he had the same cempetition with Osamu than Kags and Hinata had. I've read the manga and I don't see why there is a difference in their love for volleyball. Can you explain what you mean exactly?
@nchuopacu
@nchuopacu 4 жыл бұрын
@@Kim-ng4ti that part after jackadlers match in wich hinata and kageyama are counting their wins and loses since school and asking if they should include practices matchs etc and atsumu goes away saying "just hearing all that makes me tired" so for me the only person that can acompany hinata on his hunger for volleyball is kageyama and vice versa (as seen in kageyama's flashback that hinata is the one for kageyama) is not that atsumu doesnt love volleyball in a stupid way but he isnt this super crazy that are hinata and kageyama and how they take this partnership and rivalry seriously, is the same with hoshiumi, atsumu and him are kinda similar in this way (their type of love for volley) but only hinata and kageyama goes such lenghts for their passions in this sport (maybe oikawa also). But i think that even tho hinata and kageyama are playing half of the year in diferents teams what they have doesnt come close to any other character

I say this every week but this is the best and my favorite episode. From screaming due to the tension and force inarizaki keeps on piling on karasuno to hinata's perfect receive. Damn. So thankful hinata's receive is given justice by the animation team. Also the way they used music to emphasize just how big of a moment that is to his character growth. Ang ganda talaga 😭

I think that a big portion of the people not that satisfied with this season are actually manga readers (not all of them obviously). The author went all out for this match on paper and brought it in a level the anime just couldn’t portray back (even if, a big fault of this is COVID, we are all aware) but at the same time there are amazing shots and episodes like this, so overall it was a good season as always.

I love that Haikyū builds up little moments that make the big moments that much more impactful. I know that their is going to be a moment at the end of this season that will have every fan on their feet and maybe balling their eyes out. I love that MHA does the same.
