Nice job guys! You just wrote the book on how to do that in the water and saved a bunch of money in the process.

All I can say is WOW! You two are doing great work. I'm 59 and most of my life I have bought the tools and taken on projects myself instead of paying someone. Now I have all the tools I need (well almost) and the knowledge that comes with them. I love your can do attitude!

great job, you are brave doing it in the water. we have same boat, hit something a few years back, broke prop, strut and cracked thru hill flange (all bronze parts were pink). got lucky with quick haulout. did all the work ourselves but in yard.

Hello Team Naida. well-done and the stories you'll share with others in the future. many thanks to your friends for their help and portable air machine. one thing that i've noticed about you two, despite the ups and downs, you two keep moving forward. be assured that in the future more difficult task will greet you or slap you, but through it all, you'll do just fine. wishing you a successful sea trial. cheers from France

Thank you William! We always enjoy and appreciate your feedback! We've learned early in our journey that living this lifestyle you are much more prone to being exposed to tough situations that require unique solutions. We are finding that if you stay positive and don't give up a solution will always come about.

That was awesome. Would have never thought it could be done in water.

That’s what everyone said to us, and we believed it until we were discussing what needed to be done. Once we had the plan we realized it could be done in the water.

Just watched you two replace the cutlass bearing and the prop shaft, both while in the water! You guys are awesome. Please don't attempt an in water, under boat repair if the boat is pitching, or in open water. One untimed smack in the head could end bad. Love your video's. Thanks for putting them up for all of us to enjoy.

Very smart I was wondering about the shaft clearing the rudder.
@SailingNaida2 жыл бұрын
We saw Ryan and Sophie sailing lift their engine and got the prop shaft out from the front. Once we knew we can get the shaft out forward then we got the idea that it could be done in water.

Ah one step closer! I can't wait to see you guys in the Bahamas. Very clever of you, like I said last time very scrappy and don't let anything get in your way. You just proved it again. Oh and that transition at 20:32 was so awesome. I didn't realize that it was a different day until I noticed your clothes had changed lol. That's was good. Keep it up you two, I'm rooting for you guys!!

Holy CRAP!!! I went back and started from the beginning, watched all your videos as well as "the accident" what an amazing story! You have what it takes to make it work. Curious as to why the fire happened! What sparked the blaze? I'm an old fart, I have known a lot of lucky people in my life. You two just went to the top of that list. I'm SO glad things weren't worse!!! PLEASE, be smart and be safe! Glad to see how you interjected some humor into the situation. Now I can't wait till the next chapter in your story! Be well!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✌️👌
