There is a HUGE difference between loyalty and enabling. Loyalty is when you stand by a person for their betterment. Enabling is when your presence allows someone you know to continue destructive behavior. Cutting someone off when they are addicted to substances and destroying themselves is not disloyalty. It’s recognizing that this individual is on such a destructive path that you can’t do any credible good by them anymore. If you continue to not only be around that person, but also pay their bills, food expenses and/or their substance abuse, that’s enabling. A few thoughts, here. In college, one of my main study partners was an Asian girl who was indeed Buddhist. (I'm Christian, and what some would consider fundamentalist, at that.) I'm not taking up for this woman, but that girl had this super magical way of thinking. Her everyday life philosophy seemed to sound like The Secret. 'If you believe it, you can have it.' 'Let go and let flow.' 'Life will take care of itself.' 'Your feelings will guide you.' She was book smart, life naive. It was a bit scary to me, because a few guys on campus took advantage of her magical, childish way of thinking. This lady SO reminds me of my old classmate. I believe her when she says she's not the kind who needs to know someone for a long time before committing to a child. (Sad!) In addition, as a Christian, we don't believe in unaliving the innocent or fornication. But, as far as I know, Buddhists do not operate like that. My old classmate believed in living by her FEELINGS and INTUITION. It is strange to US, in a loosely Christian ethos to see someone say they don't need to know someone long before having a baby and fornicating, but they will not get rid of a child. But as I remember it, this aligns with the little I know about Buddhism. For them, these two things do not conflict. Granted, I've only known 2 Buddhists in my life, but that is what I have found.

What I noticed is that magical way of talking that you so eloquently put it is her charm she must have as a high value escort. I am definitely not confirming it, I am simply exploring that possibility. Because she also mentioned that every day she gets approached by men, that's all the information that was presented. She knows how to work people and be perceived at the right amount of neutralness, to not arise suspicion. Notice how quickly the narrative of her being an escort vanished. Her not talking about those people she may have rejected would in my eyes be a great skill to avoid delving into the possible reasons as to why she didn't go into detail about it. It would give too much insight of her hooker lifestyle that people would be able to poke at it. I would imagine that she strictly only messed with men that have money. So, no ordinary dudes would be on the radar. So, this way of avoiding getting into more about her life and what SHE does is an imprccable skill she has crafted. If she would be trying to convince people to pay for sex with her, she would cater it in a way that would probably sound beautiful, with some tease in there, and hint of attraction, but leaving enough power in the hands of the man to to make his decision to ultimately buy her. She had to hone this skill, like a manipulator. I think a lot of men would not because of money, not meeting her specific criteria, or straight up men that don't pay for sex would just steer clear of her. But I also think she was extremely dilligent in choosing the right man to try and persuade. Why do you think she liked that Fresh checked her out but didn't really make a move? She understood that this man had the right amount of confidence for her to try her "sales pitch." She read him clearly. And when Fresh started to spit his game, sge responded back with her own: slight tease, show interest, and engage him with a possibility of hooking up based on her saying to guess and make it a drinking game. Now top that of with the exquisite beauty she has, and BOOM all wrapped up in a nice little flirtation package. She felt she was in, and so did Fresh. Furthermore, she travels a lot so how the fuck can she be naive? She knows damn well that she is looking for all types of men to hook. I will say this though. The sex must have been awesome for both of them, which is why she had that deep feeling of loving him. Although their time together was transactional, the physical affection was enjoyed by each other, putting then in some weird pseudo-girlfriend scenario. And that might explain the entire confusion about them being a legitimate couple! I don't know why the fuck I am so invested in this shit 🤣 Her English is almost impeccable in her understanding of slang, and showed glimpses of an expanded vocabulary. No way she is a naive person. She is highly intelligent. And if she allowed him to bust inside of her, she probably was like "fuck it, he is paying, and I like him." Fresh offered somthing to her that she didn't often get as well, a type of affection that mimicked a real relationship. So, of course she felt a connection with him physically and emotionally. Maybe this is why Fresh didn't feel like she was an outright escort, because of her cunning ability to present herself like a perfect girlfriend. That's why the term was coined GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE! But also their relationship was kind of like a real relationship. Do you maybe agree with my understanding of her? Or am I wayyy off lol? This is all based on this one piece of evidence hahahah. But the real question is would she be willing to actually have a baby for only some child support??

You have a conflict with someone and there are others present, you have an audience. Better to say, 'I know this isn't the real you. You're a loving person, blah, blah, blah. But this is wrong', than to say, 'You're a snake, a punk, evil, etc. And here's what you did.' The mere act of complimenting the person FIRST makes YOU seem like the more truthful, in-control, wholesome person. (You've now activated my behavioral psychology bent.) When I think about it, what really swayed Aba, was the woman sounding like she was really in love and taken with this guy. What if THAT was all cap to seem more believable? More innocent? Hmmm, its possible! For that matter, the intimacy MAY ALSO be embellished. She may just be saying all of this to ONCE again, appear innocent and doe eyed. 3) Isn't that an interesting dichotomy of personality traits? Now that I think a little deeper.
