In the last 2 months, my grandmother passed of multiple cancers, my uncle has a few days left as of today from stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and my mother just landed in her new city after living within a few hour's driving distance all my life. It's been an even more chaotic year and every week I keep finding myself here laughing with you guys and the community. Thanks for doing what you do.

Great episode loved the dads the openness you guys share with your dads is something I strive to have with my boys. I had my 1st at 18 I was a baby we grew up together and he’s graduating high school this year and as sad as I am for him to grow up I’m so excited for him to be his own man and be able to be his friend and be his safe space in those hard times but also the awkward times especially when he starts dating seriously. The last few years have really been about him and his dad really bonding more and building a deeper connection so it kind of feels like now it’s my turn to get to build that bond with him as an adult and as a man he’s obviously still my baby and I will still mother him in many ways but I get to see him spread his wings and show the world what he’s capable of and really just start his life I hope we get more episodes with the family

At least five of my exes, that I had seriously dated for at least a year, went on to become Hooters girls after we broke up. A few even making it to the state and regional levels of the Hooters Girl competitions. I never knew how to feel about it. They would be innocent, sweet, and modest when we met and while we dated.... but then I guess I just gassed them up so much while we dated that by the time we broke up they always threw themselves back into the world with some sort of wild "I'm the baddest bitch" complex that always surprised me. On one hand I'd be sad to see them out there getting all that sexual attention, but on the other hand I'd be kinda low key proud too. I'm happy and married now, but all the talk about the Hooters Girls brought back memories.
