I love the 1v1 episodes so much it’s just an hour of you two talking in inside jokes and a 30/70 percent chance of finishing a story 😂😂😂

I'm obsessed with the intro theme, I bop my head to it every time. It's so Veronica Mars somehow.

Another amazing episode! You two always bring joy to my day! On the SATC segment -- I swear I'm not "well actually"-ing because I really hate that and please don't be mad, but it seems important in this context... Darren Star is openly gay, like SUPER openly

I think your experience with SLAA is why I have ONLY gone to the women’s SLAA groups

My feeling about Sex and the City is that everyone in that show poured so much effort and money into being miserable. Like getting all dressed up at NY's most expensive stores so some rando at a bar can dump on you. I could never get through an episode though I tried many times. If there was a tender, edifying moment in that show, I missed it.

Hi Sidney and Susie ILU❤❤ Great podcast video I love hearing about your stories about your life relationships Very interesting and learning about Yourselves. I've only had 3 relationships The first one was a test. The second one we've dated for over 2 years And we know Each other since 7 years her mother made us broke up because her mother thought I was forcing her to do something that she didn't like but I would never Force my GF to do something that would get us in trouble after all it was me and the GF idea to start doing some fun things together for our first time. Because of that I never saw her again she's also a singu actress now it's hard to deal with the past cause my old friends keep asking me how is her or keep saying her name and I told them I don't want to talk about it because it's painful to try to even think about it or even like when faced her again if I 1 day see her. My third one we've only did it for a year and we had lots of fun making out at Petco for our part-time job but she got mad at me because I didn't come back for a month because my dad passed away and I couldn't face all those people and my friends who are known for a long time because they all had dad's not me. Plus I know that you 2 are 30 I'm close to 2 years away from being 30 but as a growth man I love women in their 30s that's why I love you too both equally every single time I see you❤❤ Can't wait to hear more about your story life together.

12-step for sure has culty elements - some of that is mitigated when you find secular/agnostic meetings
@btthpod3 ай бұрын
i try to do baby/bathwater with it and also lean into difft approaches - so much of 12-step is based on "sobriety" (abstinence) and not "recovery" (recovering a life worth living that makes you generally whole and moving toward your values) - the latter is more important and can involve harm reduction/moderation (often after a period of abstinence but not necessarily) - thank you for coming to my ted talk
@btthpod3 ай бұрын
oh geez but ew those men sound bad and not in the spirit of the group - maybe it's an LA thing, too - doesn't make the whole thing problematic, though - but yes, Sid is right on the finding/having other things that can provide some elements of that wellness

Am I the only person who hears a body count of 17 & 18 and thinks that pretty high and they the girls say that it’s really low? Like wtf is happening here?
@Nasc3nt_Butt3rfly2 ай бұрын
Seems pretty subjective to me. One person‘s trash another person‘s treasure? That’s what they say, right.. But also, it’s kind of yucky to reduce humans to that. Especially when it’s based on something that has no quantifiable impact on character or any physical attribute. I guess an argument that could be made is about STI. But if you only sleep with people who get tested ,and get yourself tested shouldn’t be an issue!

@@susiestellar just watch his latest Netflix movie, Old Dads. In fact even a trailer would probably be enough to see how he thinks of women. I know the excuse is it’s “edgy comedy” but really it’s just ignorant and outdated.
