That's what I would call an epic day!... a bunch of really nice walleye, a couple bonus big catfish... and of course, with honorable mention, a monster muskie!!! You don't get days like that often... so glad you were able to share it... thanks Dan!... I'm driving home from Miami this weekend and will get to spend a few days on Lake Champlain going after some big smallies... wish me luck!

It truly was a day to remember Phil, unbelievable!! Hope you have a safe trip back, man I wish I could join you on Champlain for some smallies, they are completely closed and off limits here in Quebec until mid June. Stupid pandemic ruining our fun :/ Hopefully we can finally fish together this fall!

Unfortunately they are no longer is season as of March 31st so you're not allowed catching them :(

très souvent la pêche est excellente quand l eau est très haute dans ce secteur ;-)

It really depends on the season and water temps. If you got really cold water and the depths are high with a ton of current, it can be tough. The fish move around a lot too, so sometimes you have to hunt them down in different areas. It's total trash in the summer though, I have yet to find a good amount of fish in summer months and prefer to fish other areas.

Here in Wisconsin were catching walleyes and last week I can’t my biggest while I am at 28 inches which is also seen in my latest video! There’s a special place for walleye fishing for me after this spring! I really enjoyed watching the video and hopefully you catch more fish this year 👊🏼

Kicking A...that was some Awesome crazy fishing. There’s catfish here the size of you...not a fan of catching catfish.👍🏼First cast and catch🎏..it’s gonna be a good day. Sweet Jesus...that fish was Huge!!!!!

What's crazy is that it seems so much bigger in person... like it's almost scary trying to handle that thing, it straight up has massive teeth and a mouth you can stick your head in to.

That fish was massive, I can’t imagine trying to pull it into the boat even with a net. It reminds me of a alligator gar .

Wild watching this - I fished today (9/26/20) on the Moore Reservoir on the CT River in New Hampshire (60 miles south of Rock Island Que.). The water is about 20 to 25 feet BELOW normal - drought conditions and foliage season is peaking up there - early due to drought! So not too far away on the St Lawrence 7 months earlier you are in flood conditions....crazy. That is one big Muskie - Did not know they got that big on the St Lawrence?

Hi Jim! The St. Lawrence around Montreal goes through dramatic swings in water depth. In the spring when we shot this video, we were in the middle of the snow and ice melting so al the run off from the Ottawa region to Montreal all comes pouring in and floods the entire area. There are areas that will see the water go up over 10 feet in depth, it's crazy! And you'll find some of the biggest musky in North America in the St. Lawrence, this is where the monsters live. That's crazy fishing in an area that is down 20 t0 25 feet!! How do you even launch the boat? WOW!

Dan Richard Fishing - Yes only one ramp was do-able for boat and that was very dicy. Many ramps in the area just can’t do it. I was in an old town peddle yak.
