I'm 70 yrs old. This my favorite group. There have been many great groups thru the years, but good only in their field. These guys do it all. I haven't seen anything by them that wasn't as good or better than the original. They bring me to tears almost every time I hear them.

@CJCarson-p5j You have to admit though that the technology has greatly improved since this song was released by Dave Mason. The electronics used back in the 1970's wasn't as good as today. And they were still using tape back then...

Also, I have to say at age 65, I listen to a lot of music on YpuTube and I read a lot of comments that I’m sure are from my age bracket, give or take a few years. There are PLENTY of comments such as, “No fake AI, no auto tune, no crap.” I also see many criticizing lots of choreographed dancing, costumes, light shows, etc. (not that the latter is all that new). It isn’t a crime to put on a show. Besides, if one wants to look at YT for a source of music, there are plenty of bands like Foxes and Fossils who simply perform terrific music reflective of their vocal and musical arrangement talents. Really, F&F receives a lot of deserved notice (I think they’re all great!) not only because they have natural talent and work hard, but also because they’ve promoted themselves so well on YT. However, there’s quite a bit of musical talent showcased on YT besides theirs. It seems to me there are some of the older generation who still expect to hear the best of the best on the radio. It really doesn’t work that way anymore, not for a long time now.

@tracygrieder6217 No, she is the ticketing and marketing manager for The Basement East a popular music venue in Nashville. (Also oversees F&F patreon and these video posting premieres) Before that she was the day to day manager at a small artist promotion company. Which is how she got F&F back together studio recording. F &F was getting more youtube views than the artists they were promoting and they hadn't done anything for 2 years! All 3 girls were in Nashville for a while. Maggie Belmont U then working, Sammie Vanderbilt then working in Nashville then Boston U, and Chase at Belmont U, Nashville, then U of Iowa. Chase and Sammie back in Atlanta area recent years.

I was a Sophmore in High School when Jim Krueger was a Senior. He actually wrote this song and toured with Dave Mason for many years. We would often share an adult beverage when he was back in Manitowoc, WI on tour breaks. Great musician and great memories.
