Pro recruiting tip: If you have the insta-commit upgrade, you can get any player you want, so long as you are their top school. If at first the insta-commit doesn't capture them, fear not. Just put a player who has not been offered a scholarship above or beneath them. Go to that player and scroll up/down to the player you want. There's a little bit of buffer time between when the highlight is on the desired player and when his data will load up. If you press X during this time, the game will offer "another" scholarship to the desired player, not the one who didn't have one offered before. You can do this as many times as it takes until the player commits, and it will still count as only one scholarship used (so you can get 25 players this way). You will spend 50 recruiting points for each attempt, but rarely will you have anyone hold out for very long. Yes, this is the most OP and unfair recruiting strategy there is, but if you start with a brand new coach, it will take a while to be able to use, so at least there's that. I personally like to use this strategy with my rival, that way they're always a challenge.

People should probably pump the brakes on Jones getting the 80 receptions he was promised. He isn't good enough to warrant that many touches, and there are other players who deserve to get theirs. The team comes before retaining a single player. Just enjoy what's likely to be his swan song at DVSU.
